Step 1: Connect WiserReview with Your Squarespace Store

How to do it:

1. In your WiserReview dashboard, navigate to Automate under the Collect reviews section on the left.

2. Click the + Create automation button in the top right.

3. In the pop-up, locate Squarespace and click ‘Configure’.

4. Select Login with Squarespace and authorize access to your store.

a. Login to Your Squarespace Account

  • You’ll be redirected to the official Squarespace login screen.

  • Sign in using your email/password or continue with Google, Apple, or Facebook.

b. Select Your Store to authorize

  • After login, you’ll see a screen asking you to select the Squarespace site to connect.

  • Click on your store from the list.

c. Authorize WiserReview Access

  • After selecting the site, WiserReview will request access to view order and product data.

  • Confirm the connection.

Once connected, WiserReview will automatically begin detecting new orders from your Squarespace store.

Step 2: Configure Your Automation Settings

When you change the order status to “completed” in your Squarespace store, the order data is automatically pushed to the WiserReview automation campaign for collecting reviews.

Sets the conditions and timing for sending review requests via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.

1) Set When to Send Review Requests

After connecting, you’ll be taken to the Squarespace automation configuration panel.

  • Ensure that “Ask for reviews” is toggled ON.

  • Choose when to send the first review request (e.g., 14 days after the order is placed).

  • Turn on the Reminder toggle.

  • Set how many days later the reminder should be sent (e.g., 3 days after the first email)

  • Choose your reminder template and click Edit to customize

  • Test the reminder email using the Send Test Email button.

4) Enable Media Follow-Up (Optional)

  • Turn on the Media follow-up toggle.

  • Set delay (e.g., 1 day after review submission)

  • Choose a minimum star rating (e.g., 3 stars) — only customers who rated positively will receive the request.
