Tags Used by a Widget Can No Longer Be Switched Off by Mistake
Deactivating a tag that one of your widgets filters on used to quietly empty that widget. Turning one off now stops and tells you which widgets are still using it, by name, so you can update them first. The All, Active and Deactive tabs also carry a count, so you can see how your tags are split without opening each one.
Give Your Ask a Question Thank You Screen a Title
The screen a shopper sees after sending a question can now carry its own heading above the message, and the close button text is set in the same place instead of alongside the form fields. The ask-a-question popup itself has been redesigned, with the question box moved to the top of the form and sizing that holds up on a phone. Widgets that never had a heading keep showing the message on its own, so nothing changes until you add one.
Long Names, Dates and Locations No Longer Cut Off in Review Cards
Reviewer names, review dates and location lines used to be clipped mid-word on narrow cards. They now wrap onto their own line or end in a neat ellipsis, across the main widget, wall, review wall, carousel, auto slider, avatar, sidebar CTA, floating badge and popup widgets.
Progress and Time Remaining While Reviews Import
A running review import now shows how far it has got and roughly how long is left, instead of an indefinite loading bar. Hovering the estimate tells you how many of your reviews have been brought in so far, so you know whether to wait or come back later.
Choose One or Two Decimal Places for Your Rating
Pick whether your average rating reads as 4.5 or 4.53, and have that choice apply across the star rating, main widget, wall, review wall, carousel, auto slider and floating badge rather than only on one card.
WooCommerce Update Banner No Longer Shows on Current Plugins
The red "Update required" banner now appears only when your installed WiserReview WooCommerce plugin is genuinely older than the latest release. Stores already on the current version — or on a newer one — no longer see it because of a version number written slightly differently.
Sort Your Products by Created or Updated Date
The All Products tab now shows when each product was created and when it was last updated, and you can sort on either column. Newest first is the default, so products you have just added or changed sit at the top instead of having to be searched for.
Resuming a Plan You Cancelled During Your Trial
Turning auto-renewal back on now works if you cancelled while you were still on your trial. Before this, that request failed and the plan stayed marked as cancelled, so the only way back was to contact support. Resuming now puts the plan straight back to active, keeps the rest of your trial, and does not charge you early.
Choose the Schema Type for Your Store Rich Snippet
The store-level rich snippet now lets you pick how your business is described to search engines — Store, Organization or Local business — instead of always being published as a product. Product markup on a store-wide page is not valid to search engines, so picking the type that matches your business gives your store rating a better chance of showing in results. Existing snippets keep publishing exactly as they do today until you choose a type.
Reviewer Names in Recent Activity
The Last reviews list on your dashboard now shows who left each review, with a verified tick next to the ones from confirmed buyers, so you can tell your reviews apart without opening Manage Reviews.
See Every Review from the Avatar Widget
The avatar row now keeps to a single line whatever your page size or screen width, and ends in a circle carrying your total review count. Shoppers click it to open a panel listing all of your reviews, with your average rating at the top and a load more button to page through the rest. Themes 2 and 3 also gain settings for the panel title, the average rating line and the button colours.
Questions & Answers Labels Now Translate
Labels in the Questions & Answers section — the question and answer headings, the store owner reply label and the ask-a-question button — now follow your storefront language along with the rest of your widget, instead of staying in English on non-English storefronts.
Show Other Reviews on Products That Have None
When a product has no reviews yet, show reviews from your other products, your store, or both instead of an empty section. A heading label like "Shop Reviews" sits next to your widget title, so shoppers can tell these are not reviews of this product. The same choice is applied to your star rating widget automatically, so the product page stays consistent. Borrowed reviews are kept out of the product rich snippet, so your SEO data stays accurate.
Redesigned Review Video for Social Posts
The auto-generated review video now matches the AI Review Story widget — the same gradient backdrop, review cards, star style and branding — instead of its own separate dark theme, and review photos are used as the slide background by default. Reels posted to Facebook and Instagram also open on the finished intro card now, rather than on a blank first frame.
Custom CSS and JavaScript Fixes on Star Rating and Verified Badge Widgets
Custom JavaScript on the star rating and verified badge widgets now runs again every time the widget re-renders, so it also applies to ratings that load further down a collection page. Custom CSS and JavaScript are no longer added to the page more than once either.
Ask AI — Review Assistant Widget
Shoppers can ask a product question and get an answer generated only from your real customer reviews, shown alongside the reviews it drew from. Available on the star rating widget.
Automatic Reminders for Manual Review Campaigns
Manual review campaigns can now send up to three automatic reminders to customers who still have not left a review. Pick how many days after the original request each reminder goes out, edit the reminder email separately from the review request, and anyone who leaves a review is dropped from their remaining reminders automatically.

Unsubscribed Customers No Longer Use Up Email Quota
Manual review campaigns now skip customers who have unsubscribed instead of spending quota on an email that is never sent. Quota already taken for an unsubscribed recipient is given back, sending a single request to an unsubscribed customer now tells you why nothing went out, and the recipient count shown before you launch a campaign counts only the customers who will actually be emailed.
Sender Domain Setup Now Explains Every Pending Record
Each DNS record on your sending domain now tells you exactly why it is still pending — the record has not been published yet, a record exists but its value does not match (we show you what we actually found), or everything is correct and we are simply waiting on our email provider to confirm. Records are also checked against public DNS resolvers, so a record you have already published is no longer reported as missing.
Store Status Panel on the Dashboard
A new Status panel on the dashboard shows what still needs your attention at a glance — reviews waiting for moderation, whether your widgets are actually live on your storefront, which review request emails are switched on, your sender email DNS, and your incentive and UGC setup. Every card links straight to the screen that fixes it.
Separate Wording for One Review vs Many
Set a different rating line for products with a single review and for products with several, so your widgets read "(1 Review)" instead of "(1 Reviews)". Available on the star rating, main widget, wall, carousel, auto slider and floating badge.
BigCommerce Review Request CTA Links
Review request emails on BigCommerce now send with working call-to-action links. Previously these emails were built on the wrong template path, so the review buttons did not open the review form.
Manual Review Campaign — 5,000 CSV Limit
Manual review campaigns now accept up to 5,000 rows per CSV upload, with a 3-month order-age condition on Shopify to keep campaigns focused on relevant recent buyers.
Ask-to-Revise Email Preview
Preview the exact "ask to revise" email a shopper will receive directly from the Manage Reviews screen before you send it.
