How to migrate from Shopper Approved to WiserReview safely

Many ecommerce brands that use Shopper Approved eventually face challenges such as limited flexibility in review management, a lack of product-focused review widgets, or reliance on separate tools for referrals and automation.

Migrating to WiserReview allows you to retain all your existing reviews, ratings, customer information, and media while unlocking more ways to display and manage reviews effectively.

In this Blog, we’ll cover the migration process, review display setup, and continuous review collection on your store.

Why brands move from Shopper Approved to WiserReview

Limited reporting & features

Some merchants feel Shopper Approved does not provide enough insights into review performance, making it harder to measure engagement or conversion impact.

Limited reporting can make it difficult to identify which reviews drive sales or improve customer trust.

Poor customer support

Businesses often face delays in resolving account or technical issues, slowing review management and limiting their ability to respond to customer concerns quickly.

Limited customization

Store owners want more control over where and how reviews are displayed. Shopper Approved offers limited widget flexibility, restricting layout and design options.

Expensive plans & Usage difficulty

High subscription costs, combined with a steep learning curve and difficult navigation, can make scaling review programs challenging.

Merchants often feel they are paying more for less functionality.

Poor interface design & Outdated layout

Many users report that Shopper Approved’s interface feels outdated, with layout issues and unintuitive navigation.

This can make managing reviews time-consuming and reduce overall efficiency.

Better ecommerce integration

WiserReview supports product-specific reviews, multiple display widgets, AI-powered summaries, automated review collection, and referral marketing, offering more value and easier management in a single platform.
