Migrate from Trustpilot to WiserReview with more features
Migrate from Trustpilot to WiserReview without losing reviews, ratings, or media, and easily import, display, and automate customer feedback on your store.

Trustpilot is one of the most recognized review platforms, helping businesses collect and display customer feedback.
However, many ecommerce brands eventually need more control over product reviews, review widgets, automated review collection, AI-powered summaries, and customer engagement features.
The good news is that switching from Trustpilot to WiserReview doesn’t mean starting over.
You can migrate your existing reviews, ratings, customer information, review dates, and supported media content while keeping the trust you’ve already built.
In this blog, you’ll learn how to migrate from Trustpilot to WiserReview, import your reviews, display them across your store, and automate future review collection.
Why store owners move from Trustpilot to WiserReview

When moving from Trustpilot to WiserReview, you can import:
- Review content
- Star ratings
- Customer names
- Review dates
- Product ID
- Photo reviews
- Video reviews
Your exported review data can be imported into WiserReview and displayed through customizable review widgets.
Before you start the migration
Before starting, make sure you have access to your Trustpilot account, your ecommerce store admin, and your WiserReview account.
Export your review file from Trustpilot and check that it includes review text, ratings, customer details, dates, and product information if you want to display product-based reviews.
Product IDs are important for ecommerce stores because they help connect imported reviews with the correct products.
Export your reviews from Trustpilot
The product reviews page on your Trustpilot Business account allows you to filter, export, and manage reviews from one place.
Trustpilot gives you two types of reviews:
- Service reviews: Feedback about your overall business, service, shipping, or support.
- Product reviews: Feedback specifically tied to individual products you sell.
Step 1: Log in to your Trustpilot business account
- Go to business.trustpilot.com and sign in with your admin or manager account.
Only users with the right permission level (usually admin or manager) will see the export options.
Step 2: Choose the review type to export
From the main sidebar menu:

-
For Service Reviews, go to: Reviews → Service Reviews

-
For Product Reviews, go to: Reviews → Product Reviews
This step matters because the export files are different. Product Reviews include product-specific details such as name, SKU, and sometimes a product ID, all of which are helpful for ecommerce platforms.
Step 3: Export reviews in CSV format
- In the upper-right corner of the review table, click the Export icon or dropdown.
- Choose CSV format. (CSV is preferred for uploading into WiserReview.)
- The file will download and contain all available review data, including the reviewer’s name, rating, date, and text.
Service Review exports will focus on business experience.
Product Review exports will include product-related data such as product name, ID, or SKU, if available in your Trustpilot setup, and will require that the necessary information be available before importing it into WiserReview.
