Import Reviews via WiserReview Chrome Extension

Install and use the WiserReview Chrome Extension to import reviews from any review platform directly into your account. Covers install, login, and import steps.

🛍️ Google Shopping eligibility

Reviews imported from third-party platforms are stored separately and excluded from the Google Product Ratings feed, per Google’s partner content policy. They still display on your storefront and inside your widgets. To syndicate to Google Shopping, collect reviews natively through WiserReview’s email request or on-site form.

Note: Reviews imported via the Chrome extension (Capterra, G2, Trustpilot, etc.) display on your site only and are excluded from the Google Product Ratings feed.

Setup Steps:

  1. Install the Chrome WiserReview Extension

  2. Pin the extension to your browser toolbar for easy access

  3. Click the extension icon and log in to your WiserReview account

  4. Navigate to the Import tab inside the extension

Method 1: Standard Import

  1. Click the Select Source dropdown

  2. Click Add New to create a new integration source

  3. In the popup:

    • Choose Integration Source

    • Enter a custom name like "G2 Reviews"

  4. Click Create

  5. Your new source will now appear in the dropdown

  6. Once selected, integration is active and ready

Method 2: Bulk Import Flow

  1. Click on Bulk Import inside the extension

  2. Highlight and select the reviewer name and review text from Reddit

  3. Click Next

  4. Open the Select Source dropdown

  5. Click Add New

  6. In the popup:

    • Choose Integration Source

    • Enter a name (e.g., “G2 Reviews”)

  7. Click Create

  8. Your source is now saved and enabled
