9 Bolt Checkout Alternatives You Already Carry (2026)
Bolt sells an 80M-shopper network. PayPal, Stripe, Shopify, and Amazon carry bigger ones. 9 checkouts, verified live.

Search for Bolt alternatives, and page one hands you three wrong aisles: payment gateways, fraud software, and the ride-hailing app sharing the name.
None of that answers the real question, because one-click checkout is a network product. Bolt’s pitch is its Universal Shopper Network, which it claims recognizes 80M+ US shoppers at checkout.
The strongest alternatives play the same game with bigger boards: wallets attached to PayPal, Stripe, Shopify, and Amazon that your buyers already carry.
The test has two parts: count the networks your customers already belong to, then check whether checkout is still the vendor’s main bet. 9 tools, verified live in July 2026.
What to weigh before you commit
Three structural trades, all from primary sources.
The network math runs against it
Bolt claims 80M+ US shoppers. PayPal’s fees page cites 92 million in the Venmo network Fastlane recognizes. Shopify says 150M+ for Shop Pay. Amazon counts 300 million+ active customers.
The gap compounds because your buyers already carry those wallets. Nobody installs Bolt; they encounter it.
Checkout is no longer the only bet
The SuperApp pivot moves the company’s center of gravity toward consumer crypto and banking, monetized through card interchange and trading fees.
The cautionary tale is fresh: Fast, the Stripe-backed one-click rival, shut down in April 2022 when the money ran out. Standalone checkout networks live on their owner’s focus.
The price is a percentage of a call
There’s no public pricing: G2 lists none, and the model is a share of network transactions, quoted per merchant.
Budget it as revenue share, not software. Get the percentage and your network-match rate in writing before the trial.
The Bolt bill, in plain numbers
From G2, Bolt’s own listing FAQs, and this week’s reporting.
What Bolt costs (checked July 2026)
4.6 from 46 reviews on G2
No public pricing; a % of network transactions
80M+ US shoppers, by its own claim
Founder back as CEO 2025; SuperApp pivot to crypto
The honest read: a well-reviewed one-click checkout carrying the smallest network on this page, sold by a company whose next bet is a consumer crypto app

One practical note: pull two numbers first, your guest-checkout share and your repeat-buyer share. Every row below monetizes one or the other.
The 9 alternatives at a glance
Every figure is from a live vendor page or a published fee schedule this week.
| Tool | Cost (July 2026) | The network | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal Fastlane | Inside PayPal processing | 92M Venmo-network consumers | Guest-heavy checkouts |
| Link by Stripe | Stripe’s 2.9% + 30¢ | Stripe-scale, millions | Stores already on Stripe |
| Shop Pay | Free with Shopify Payments | 150M+ shoppers | Shopify stores |
| Amazon Pay | 2.9% + $0.30 | 300M+ Amazon customers | Borrowing Amazon’s trust |
| Buy with Prime | Pay-as-you-go, per order | Prime members | Prime badge + fulfillment |
| Skipify | Custom | Bank-connected identities | Keeping your PSP and stack |
| Bold Commerce | Custom | None, yours | Headless checkout control |
| Apple Pay + Google Pay | $0 beyond processing | Device wallets | The floor every store sets |
| Signifyd | Custom | Fraud network, not checkout | The guarantee, bought alone |
The network column is the sort. Two rows carry none on purpose: one sells control; the other sells the guarantee. Together, they unbundle everything Bolt sells.
The giant networks
Four wallets your buyers already carry.
PayPal Fastlane: the guest-checkout play

The case for it: Fastlane recognizes guests by email and autofills from the 92 million active consumers PayPal’s fees page counts in its Venmo network. Its developer center says autofill shoppers convert roughly 80% of the time.
The trade-off: It’s US-only on PayPal Complete Payments or Braintree at the 2.89% advanced card rate, and its own terms allow extra Fastlane charges on custom and interchange-plus plans since January 2025.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Guests dominate your checkout. PayPal or Braintree already processes you. US traffic is the business.
Link by Stripe: the developer network

The case for it: Link saves a shopper once and checks them out across the million-plus businesses on it, comes bundled with Stripe at the standard 2.9% + 30¢ card rate, and handles agent-initiated payments.
The trade-off: The value concentrates inside Stripe’s world: if Stripe isn’t your processor, Link isn’t your network.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Stripe runs your payments. Returning buyers matter. You want the network without a new vendor.
Shop Pay: the conversion benchmark

The case for it: Shopify’s page states the numbers plainly: as much as 50% better conversion than guest checkout, outpacing other accelerated checkouts by at least 10%, with 150M+ shoppers, free with Shopify Payments.
The trade-off: It requires Shopify, so for everyone else, this row is a replatforming decision rather than an integration.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: You’re on Shopify or heading there. Conversion benchmarks decide. Free is the right add-on price.
Amazon Pay: the trust transplant

The case for it: Amazon Pay lets 300 million+ Amazon customers pay with the account they already trust, claims a 35% conversion lift, and publishes its fee: 2.9% plus $0.30 domestic, with a Stripe route adding no extra fees.
The trade-off: You’re putting Amazon’s button and brand at your checkout, a trade some stores weigh against the lift.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Your buyers live on Amazon anyway. Trust is the conversion blocker. Published rates beat demo calls.
The Amazon second act
The row that bundles checkout with the Prime promise itself.
Buy with Prime: the badge and the boxes

The case for it: Buy with Prime puts the Prime badge, a hosted Amazon checkout, and Amazon fulfillment with free returns on your own site, with one customer on its page citing a 40% conversion jump.
The trade-off: It’s a parallel hosted checkout plus Amazon’s fulfillment rules, US-only, and the pay-as-you-go bill has three parts plus a 3.5% fuel surcharge on fulfillment from May 2026.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Prime members fill your audience. Fulfillment is part of the problem. The badge itself sells.
The identity specialist
The closest thing to Bolt’s actual pitch, wired to banks instead.
Skipify: recognition without replatforming

The case for it: Skipify connects hundreds of millions of shopper identities through financial institutions, recognizes 60%+ of your shoppers, and works within your existing platform and PSP, with an agentic AI layer that claims an 8-9% conversion lift.
The trade-off: It’s an enterprise sales motion with no public price, so the network advantage arrives through a pipeline of calls. If recognition is a form of ecommerce personalization, this is the checkout end of that spectrum, priced accordingly.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Bolt’s recognition idea was the draw. Your PSP contract isn’t moving. Enterprise procurement doesn’t scare you.
The no-network rows
Two rows that intentionally skip the shopper network.
Bold Commerce: checkout you control

The case for it: Bold sells composable, headless checkout with subscriptions and pricing logic built in, with hundreds of thousands of merchants and a decade of orders by its own count.
The trade-off: No consumer network means the lift comes from your UX work, and pricing is a sales conversation.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Checkout customization was the real reason you looked at Bolt. The stack is headless. Your team owns the funnel.
Apple Pay + Google Pay: the $0 floor

The case for it: The device wallets are accepted on millions of sites, cost nothing beyond processing, autofill payment and address in a tap, and switch on through your existing processor.
The trade-off: They accelerate payment, not identity: there’s no cross-store shopper network, and coverage follows the device ecosystems.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: They’re not on yet, which makes this row step one. Mobile traffic leads. Zero is the budget.
The guarantee, sold separately
For buyers who wanted Bolt’s fraud coverage more than its checkout.
Signifyd: the indemnification row

The case for it: Signifyd approves orders backed by a 100% financial guarantee against fraud and abuse, claims a 5% conversion lift from fewer false declines, and holds 4.6 from 356 G2 reviews, several times Bolt’s own count.
The trade-off: It’s fraud protection only, priced by custom quote, so it pairs with a checkout from the rows above rather than replacing one.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Chargebacks are the actual bleeding. The guarantee needs to survive a checkout switch. Fraud deserves its own vendor.
How to actually choose
Three steps, in order.
First, set the floor for free: turn on Apple Pay and Google Pay through your processor today, so every later test starts from an honest baseline.
Second, match the network to your buyers. On Shopify, Shopify Pay is free with Payments and benchmarked ahead. On Stripe, Link is already in your rate. Guest-heavy DTC points to Fastlane; a Prime-heavy catalog points to Buy with Prime.
It’s the same discipline our ShipperHQ alternatives guide applies to shipping rates on the same page of the funnel.
Then run the math against Bolt’s quote: its percentage times your match rate, against Amazon’s published 2.9% + $0.30, Stripe’s 2.9% + 30¢, or Shop Pay’s zero.
In WooCommerce, settle on a processor first with our WooPayments alternatives guide, because the wallet rides the rails you pick.
Where WiserReview fits
Every network on this page speeds up the shopper who has already decided to buy.
WiserReview works on the shopper who hasn’t. It collects reviews on autopilot and shows star ratings next to your products on WooCommerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and custom stores, starting at $9 a month.
Fast checkout wins the day. Honest reviews win the undecided.
My pick for each situation
Nine rows, one shortcut each.
| If this is you | I’d pick | The cost reality |
|---|---|---|
| Guest checkout dominates | PayPal Fastlane | Inside PayPal processing |
| Already on Stripe | Link | 2.9% + 30¢, included |
| On Shopify | Shop Pay | Free with Payments |
| Buyers trust Amazon most | Amazon Pay | 2.9% + $0.30 |
| Prime badge would sell | Buy with Prime | Pay-as-you-go, 3 fees |
| Keep PSP, add recognition | Skipify | Custom, demo-driven |
| Headless, full control | Bold Commerce | Custom quote |
| Nothing set up yet | Apple Pay + Google Pay | $0 beyond processing |
| Fraud was the real problem | Signifyd | Custom quote |
If Bolt is live and lifting your numbers, staying is defensible: the reviews are good, and the tech is real. Get the percentage in writing, ask for your match rate, and watch the roadmap.
The short version
Bolt offers a real one-click checkout, attached to the smallest network on this page: 80M+ claimed shoppers, a percentage-based price quoted on a call, and a parent company now betting on a consumer crypto SuperApp led by its returned founder.
The giants run the same play with wallets your buyers already carry: Fastlane inside PayPal, Link inside Stripe, Shop Pay free on Shopify, and Amazon Pay at a published 2.9% + $0.30, with Buy with Prime adding the badge and the boxes.
The unbundled rows finish the job: Skipify for recognition without replatforming, Bold for checkout control, the device wallets for a $0 floor, and Signifyd for the fraud guarantee alone.
And whichever button speeds the buyer through, remember who you haven’t convinced yet: the reviews beside the product are the checkout for the undecided.
