Original & genuine product. I've been living in Malaysia for a few months now. I bought liquor at a local store only to find out that it was fake. Then somebody told me about the rampant fake liquor problem in Malaysia. I have been afraid to buy liquor ever since. So I was very apprehensive to buy online. I fidgeted for a couple of weeks & finally decided to give it a try. I am happy now but finally I found a source from which I could buy genuine whiskey at a decent price. That is Tipple! I will order again and again. The bottle was also quite well backed and delivered within 2 days as promised. Ballantines: I had this whiskey a long time ago and have forgotten its taste. I did not like the whiskey that much. There is a tinge of bitterness to it as you gulp. It eases out as the ice melts into the whiskey. I'd say the whiskey is quite average compared to others in the price range. Teachers Highland, Dewar's White Label, Black & White, White & Mackay. .. all of them taste better than this.

Very decent for a scotch for that price.
