Why OptimizePress users add a Google review widget

How WiserReview embeds on OptimizePress
WiserReview goes into an OptimizePress HTML element inside LiveEditor. The widget script loads asynchronously after the page renders, so it doesn't slow down your funnel pages or break the OptimizePress conversion flow. Works on landing pages, sales pages, funnel steps, and OptimizeMember pages.
Collect Google reviews
Gather reviews through email requests, QR codes, WhatsApp, or a direct link. Text, photo, and video are all supported.
Automate Google reviews
Trigger a review request after a WooCommerce order, an OptimizeFunnels conversion, or an OptimizeMember signup. Set it once and the rest is hands-off.
Manage Google reviews
Choose which collected reviews to feature using content moderation (spam, profanity, policy violations) or curated selections. Curated widgets show a Testimonials badge so visitors can tell they're hand-picked.
Display Google reviews
Pick from carousels, walls, badges, popups, or a single-line rating snippet. Inside an HTML element, the widget reads your OptimizePress template's font stack on its own.

Who needs a Google review widget?
Best fit for OptimizePress users running sales funnels where every conversion step matters. Course launches, coaching programs, membership sites, and digital products tend to see the biggest impact.
Course and product launches
A wall widget above the Add to Cart or order form is the highest-leverage placement on OptimizePress sales pages. The carousel widget fits naturally between the offer summary and the price section.
Coaching program funnels
On application or strategy-call funnel pages, the carousel widget between the program details and the application form lifts qualified application rate. Tag-filter to show high-touch coaching client reviews.
Membership site signups
OptimizeMember registration pages benefit from reviews from existing members. Place them above the membership tier selection or beside the lifetime-access offer.
Webinar registration
Past attendee reviews above the registration form lift signup rate. A single-line rating snippet in the header reinforces trust on the initial scroll.
Multi-step funnels
Show different review widgets on each step of an OptimizeFunnels sequence. The optin page gets a single-line rating, the sales page gets a wall, and the upsell page gets a fresh testimonial focused on the upsell value.
Sales pages for digital products
Ebooks, templates, video kits, and software products sold through OptimizePress benefit from reviews near the buy button. The popup widget triggered by exit-intent works well for last-chance conversion lift.
Add Google reviews to OptimizePress in three steps

Sign in to WiserReview and link your Google Business Profile. Your existing reviews usually show up within about a minute.
2. Pick a widget style

OptimizePress install methods and placement tips
Last verified inside OptimizePress LiveEditor in May 2026. Every tactic has been tested on real OptimizePress funnels, including OptimizeFunnels and OptimizeMember setups.
Method 1. HTML element in LiveEditor (Suite plan or higher)
This is the recommended setup. The HTML element is available across every OptimizePress page template inside LiveEditor.
How
Open the page with the LiveEditor's Edit with OP button. From the elements sidebar, drag the HTML element into the spot where you want the widget. Click the element, then click Edit to open the HTML editor. Paste the WiserReview embed code. Save the element and the page. The widget renders on the next page load.
Method 2. Site-wide via WordPress wp_head or wp_footer
Use this when you want a floating badge or sticky review widget on every OptimizePress page without editing each one. Best done through a code-injection plugin to avoid editing your theme.
How
Install Insert Headers and Footers (or any equivalent) on your WordPress site. Paste the WiserReview script tag in the Footer Scripts field. Save once and the floating badge appears site-wide, including on every OptimizePress page. Avoid editing functions.php directly; the code-injection plugin survives theme updates.
Method 3. Per-page custom code in OptimizePress settings
OptimizePress lets you add custom head and body code at the page level. This is the right method when you want a widget on one specific funnel page without affecting the rest of the site.
How
In LiveEditor, open the page settings (gear icon). Find the Custom Page Code section. Paste the WiserReview script tag in the Footer Code field. Save the page. The widget loads on this specific page only.
OptimizeFunnels multi-step setup
OptimizeFunnels lets you build multi-step sequences. Different review widgets work best on different funnel steps.
How
On the opt-in page, use a single-line rating snippet for instant credibility. On the sales page, drop a wall widget above the order form. On the upsell page, show a carousel of upsell-specific reviews. On the thank-you page, request a review from the new customer with a WiserReview review request link.
Place the widget where buyers actually decide
On OptimizePress sales pages, the placement directly above the order form or Add to Cart button consistently outperforms other positions.
How
For sales pages: review wall above the order form. For coaching application pages: carousel between the program details and the application form. For webinar opt-in pages: single-line rating above the email field. The page footer is a weak placement; most converting visitors never scroll that far.
Match the widget to your OptimizePress template
The widget picks up the OptimizePress template's font stack and section colors automatically inside an HTML element. You only need to override anything if you want a specific look.
How
If you're using OptimizePress's Custom CSS option, target the .wiser_review_wall class to tweak spacing or colors without going into the widget settings. For non-CSS users, the WiserReview design panel handles font weight, padding, and background tone.
Test in LiveEditor Preview before publishing
LiveEditor's Preview button shows the widget the same way visitors will see it, including responsive breakpoints.
How
Click Preview in LiveEditor before publishing. A common gotcha: the HTML element shows a placeholder in the editor, not the live widget. It only renders in Preview or after publishing. If it's still empty in Preview, check that no WordPress caching plugin is serving a stale version, and that no security plugin is blocking the WiserReview script.
Add Google reviews

Drop the WiserReview HTML element into any OptimizePress page in a few minutes. Works across LiveEditor sales pages, funnels, and OptimizeMember.
