Add Google reviews to Thinkific in three steps
1. Connect your Google profile
Sign in to WiserReview and link your Google Business Profile. Your existing reviews usually show up within about a minute.
2. Pick a widget style
Pick the format that fits your page: review wall, carousel, floating badge, or single-line rating. The widget reads your Thinkific theme's fonts on its own. You can override colors and spacing inside WiserReview.
3. Paste into a Thinkific HTML/Embed section
Open your Site Page in the Site Builder, add a new section, pick the HTML/Embed type, and paste the WiserReview embed. Save the page and the widget loads on the next render. Requires the Start plan or higher; the Free plan needs a different approach, covered below.

Thinkific install methods and placement tips
Last verified inside the Thinkific Site Builder in May 2026. Includes a workaround for the Free plan. Every method below has been tested on real Thinkific schools.
Method 1. HTML/Embed section (Start plan or higher)
This is the recommended setup. The HTML/Embed section type is available on Start, Grow, and Plus plans inside the Thinkific Site Builder.
How
Open the Site Page you want to edit, click Add Section, and pick the HTML/Embed section type. Paste in the WiserReview embed code, save, and preview. The section sits between your other Site Builder blocks and inherits the page's container width on its own.
Method 2. Free plan workaround using a custom Site Page
Thinkific's Free plan has limited Site Builder section types. The HTML/Embed section may be locked depending on your provisioning, so the floating badge widget is the workaround.
How
In your WiserReview dashboard, generate the floating badge widget. It gives you a small public iframe URL that some Free-plan Thinkific schools accept inside Custom HTML areas. For the wall, carousel, or popup styles, you'll need to upgrade to Start or higher.
Method 3. Site-wide via Custom Code injection (Grow plan+)
Use this when you want a floating badge or sticky review widget on every Thinkific page, without editing each Site Page one by one.
How
Go to Settings, then Site, then Custom Code, and paste the WiserReview script tag into the Header section. Save once and the widget appears site-wide on Site Pages. Note: the Course Player and lesson pages don't run custom site code, so the widget shows on marketing pages but not inside the course experience.
Pick the right widget for Thinkific course sales pages
Thinkific sales pages tend to be long-scroll with the enroll button below the fold. Pick a widget that survives that scroll without feeling repetitive.
How
For sales pages, the review wall is the strongest fit just above the pricing section. A floating badge in the corner reinforces trust as the user scrolls through the modules list. The single-line rating snippet works well right under your course title near the top of the page.
Place the widget where students actually decide
On Thinkific, the placements that tend to convert best are right next to the enroll button, between the course description and the curriculum, and inside the FAQ section.
How
For coaching or cohort programs, the spot between the program details and the application form is the highest-leverage placement. For evergreen courses, place reviews between the curriculum overview and the pricing table. The footer is a bad spot on Thinkific sales pages; engagement drops off sharply there.
Match the widget to your Thinkific theme
Inside an HTML/Embed section, the widget picks up your Thinkific theme's font stack on its own. You only override anything if you want a specific look.
How
If you're using the Grow plan or higher with Theme Code access, target the .wiser_review_wall class to tweak spacing or colors without going into the widget settings. For non-CSS users, the WiserReview design panel handles font weight, padding, and background tone.
Test on Thinkific Preview before going live
Thinkific's Site Builder preview renders the widget the same way visitors will see it, including responsive breakpoints.
How
Use the preview button in the Site Builder before publishing the page. A common gotcha: if the widget shows up empty on first preview, that's usually the Thinkific cache. Refresh once and it should appear. If it's still empty after the refresh, an analytics-blocker extension is probably intercepting the WiserReview script.
