#1 Google review widget for Weebly
WiserReview embeds into any Weebly page through the Embed Code element. The same setup works on Classic Weebly and Square Online. You don't need a plugin or a developer.
Review widget that convert
Adding your Google reviews Carousel takes just a few clicks — no coding or plugins required.

Why Weebly site owners add a Google review widget

How WiserReview embeds on Weebly
WiserReview goes into a Weebly Embed Code element, the same element you'd use for any custom HTML. The widget script loads asynchronously after Weebly's first paint, so the page renders first and the widget fills in. It works the same way on Classic Weebly and on Square Online product or content pages.
Collect Google reviews
Gather reviews through email requests, QR codes, WhatsApp, or a direct link. Text, photo, and video are all supported. Customers can submit a review without leaving your Weebly site.
Automate Google reviews
Trigger a review request after a Square Online order, a contact-form submission, or a Weebly Commerce purchase. Set it once and the rest is hands-off.
Manage Google reviews
Choose which collected reviews to feature using content moderation (spam, profanity, policy violations) or curated selections. Curated widgets show a Testimonials badge so visitors can tell they're hand-picked.
Display Google reviews
Pick from carousels, walls, badges, popups, or a single-line rating snippet. The widget inherits your Weebly theme's font stack automatically. You only override settings when you want to.

Who needs a Google review widget?
Best fit for Weebly and Square Online owners whose buyers want proof before they commit. Local service businesses, small retail shops, and event-based sites tend to see the biggest impact.
Local service businesses
Plumbers, electricians, cleaners, and home services. Reviews next to the contact form do the heaviest lifting. The single-line rating snippet works well in the header on Weebly Personal and Professional plans.
Square Online ecommerce shops
Small-batch retail, food and beverage, or local makers selling through Square Online. A review wall above the checkout block tends to lift conversion. Square Online's content pages accept the Embed Code element natively.
Restaurants and food businesses
Embed a review wall above the reservation form or near the menu. Customers see what others rated before they book or order. Works on both Classic Weebly and Square Online restaurant templates.
Personal trainers, salons, and wellness
Reviews on the services or pricing page increase the chance of a booking. Tag-filter your widgets so a massage page only shows massage-tagged reviews.
Event venues and rental sites
Reviews near the Weebly Form Block for inquiries. Star ratings above the contact form tend to increase fill-rate across the hospitality customers we work with.
Anyone using Weebly as their main site
If Weebly powers your entire site, the floating badge widget gives you site-wide social proof through Site Header Code injection. Works on Pro plan and higher.
Add Google reviews to Weebly in three steps

1. Connect your Google profile
Sign in to WiserReview and link your Google Business Profile. Your existing reviews usually show up within about a minute.
2. Pick a widget style
Pick the format that fits your page: review wall, carousel, floating badge, or single-line rating. The widget reads your Weebly theme's fonts on its own. You can override colors and spacing inside WiserReview.
3. Paste into a Weebly Embed Code element
Edit your page, drag the Embed Code element into the spot you want, click Edit Custom HTML, and paste the WiserReview embed. Publish and the widget loads on the next page render. Works on Free, Personal, Professional, and Performance plans.

Weebly install methods and placement tips
Last verified on Classic Weebly and Square Online in May 2026. Includes a method that works even on the Free plan. Every tip below has been tested on real Weebly sites.
Method 1. Embed Code element (works on Free plan and up)
This is the most flexible setup. The Embed Code element is available on every Weebly plan, including the Free plan, and it accepts the WiserReview embed as-is.
How
In the page editor, drag the Embed Code element from the sidebar into the spot where you want the widget. Click the element, then click Edit Custom HTML. Paste in the WiserReview embed and click outside the box to save. Publish the page and the widget renders on the next visit.
Method 2. HTML Code element on Pro and Performance plans
The HTML Code element handles larger scripts and more complex widgets better than the basic Embed Code element. Available on Pro and Performance plans.
How
Use the HTML Code element for the review wall or popup widgets, where the script is heavier. The Embed Code element is fine for the floating badge and single-line rating snippets, which are lighter scripts.
Method 3. Site Header Code for site-wide floating widgets
This is the right method when you want a floating badge or sticky review widget on every Weebly page without editing each page one by one.
How
Go to Settings, then SEO, and scroll to Header Code. Paste the WiserReview script tag there. Save once and the widget appears site-wide. Requires Pro plan or higher. We usually recommend turning on the hide-on-mobile rule in the widget settings so the floating badge doesn't crowd small screens on Weebly's responsive templates.
Classic Weebly vs Square Online: pick the right method
Classic Weebly and Square Online use slightly different page editors, even though Square now owns both. The Embed Code element exists in both, but with small differences.
How
On Classic Weebly, drag the Embed Code element from the Build menu. On Square Online, look for the Embed Code under Content elements when editing a custom page. Square Online product pages don't accept the Embed Code directly; use a content page or section adjacent to the product detail instead.
Place the widget where buyers actually decide
On Weebly sites, the placements that tend to convert best are right next to the contact form, above pricing or reservation tables, and inside service description sections.
How
For service businesses, the spot between the service list and the contact form works particularly well. For Square Online stores, the review wall above the checkout block is the highest-leverage placement. The footer is a bad spot on Weebly; engagement drops off sharply there.
Match the widget to your Weebly theme
Weebly themes vary widely in their default fonts and spacing. The widget picks up the theme's font stack automatically, but you may want to tweak padding.
How
If you're using Weebly's Edit HTML/CSS feature (Pro plan and up), target the .wiser_review_wall class to nudge spacing or colors without going into the widget settings. For non-CSS users, the WiserReview design panel handles font weight, padding, and background tone.
Test in Weebly Preview before publishing
Weebly's Preview mode shows the widget the same way visitors will see it, including the responsive breakpoints.
How
Click Preview in the top right of the editor before you publish. A common gotcha: the Embed Code element shows a placeholder in the editor instead of the live widget. The widget only renders when you preview or publish. If it's still empty in Preview, an analytics-blocker extension is probably intercepting the WiserReview script.
