A Latvian coffee specialist on WooCommerce. 1,200+ reviews carried across.
How Coffee Guru, a Riga-based coffee and espresso machine retailer, retired Judge.me on WooCommerce and runs Product Reviews and Star Rating across a 700+ product catalog of beans, capsules, machines and care supplies.

Coffee Guru is a Latvian coffee specialist running on WooCommerce at coffeeguru.lv, with a physical store at Lielirbes iela 17A in Riga. The catalog covers coffee beans, ground coffee, flavored ground coffee, capsules (Dolce Gusto, Lavazza A Modo Mio, Lavazza Blue, Illy IperEspresso, Nespresso), espresso machines from DeLonghi, JURA, Nivona, Melitta, Saeco, Philips, Stollar and SAGE, plus the full machine care line of cleaning tablets, descalers, milk system cleaners, water filters and paper filters. The brand also runs the Gourmet Guru side range with Monin syrups, Fabbri syrups, panettone, smoothie mixes and tea. 700+ products. 1,200+ verified reviews now sit behind the catalog on WooCommerce with WiserReview, with prices in EUR and the storefront in Latvian.
1,200+ Judge.me reviews. 700+ products across coffee, machines and care supplies. A Latvian WooCommerce store where shoppers read reviews before they buy a 1,000 EUR espresso machine.
Coffee Guru sells two very different things on the same WooCommerce store. On one side, repeat-purchase coffee and capsules where shoppers want to know how a bean tastes, how fresh it arrives and how it brews on a Lavazza Blue or a Dolce Gusto setup. On the other side, espresso machines that run from a few hundred to over 1,000 EUR, where one review can decide a sale. With 1,200+ reviews already collected on Judge.me across the catalog, every star rating tied to a specific bean, capsule range or machine. Losing the link between a review and the right SKU on the way out would have undone years of customer feedback. The team also wanted star ratings showing on the category grid (Kafija, Kafijas automāti, Apkope), not just buried at the bottom of each product page.
Coffee Guru needed one platform that could absorb the full Judge.me history, drop onto WooCommerce in a day, and run Product Reviews and Star Rating across coffee, machines and care supplies on the existing Latvian storefront.
“1,200+ reviews carried across from Judge.me. Star Rating live on every PDP and on the category grid. Setup done in a day.”
The Coffee Guru team needed Judge.me out of the stack and the full 1,200+ review history kept on the right product across coffee, machines and care supplies. WiserReview dropped onto WooCommerce, imported the review set with star ratings, written text and dates intact, and put Star Rating under product titles, on the category grid and on the full Product Reviews block on every PDP.
Why Coffee Guru picked WiserReview
Clean Judge.me migration at 1,200+ scale
Every Judge.me review moved to WiserReview with star ratings, review text, dates and reviewer details preserved. Each review stayed linked to the correct Coffee Guru product across the 700+ SKU catalog of beans, capsules, machines and care supplies.
WooCommerce drop-in, no theme rebuild
The WiserReview pixel sat directly on the existing WordPress and WooCommerce stack at coffeeguru.lv. Star ratings under product titles, the full Product Reviews block on every PDP, and ratings on the category grid all went live without custom development on the existing theme.
Star ratings on the category grid
WiserReview puts a star count and review number on every product card in the Kafija, Kafijas automāti and Apkope categories. A shopper comparing 30 coffee beans or four DeLonghi machines sees the average rating and review count before they click into a single PDP.
Same widget set for coffee and machines
A 14 EUR ground coffee bag and a 1,400 EUR DeLonghi automatic machine sit on the same Coffee Guru storefront. WiserReview runs the same Star Rating and Product Reviews block on both, so the trust signal stays consistent whether a shopper is reordering beans or making a once-in-a-decade machine decision.
Migration from Judge.me
Coffee Guru exported the full Judge.me review set and brought it into WiserReview on WooCommerce. Product matching kept every review tied to the right bean, capsule range, espresso machine or care item, so PDPs stayed accurate from day one across all 700+ products.
Zero reviews lost. Years of customer feedback kept its product across coffee, machines and care supplies.
Review widgets on WooCommerce
Coffee Guru runs the WiserReview widget set on WooCommerce. Star Rating under every product title, the full Product Reviews block on every PDP, and star counts on every product card across the category grid.
Star rating with total review count under the product title, and the full Product Reviews block below the description. Works the same on a 14 EUR bag of beans, a Lavazza Blue capsule pack, a Monin syrup or a 1,400 EUR DeLonghi automatic machine.
Star rating and review count under the product title on a Coffee Guru PDP.
- Star Rating with total review count under every product title
- Star Rating on every product card across the category grid
- Product Reviews block on every PDP with filter and sort controls
- Verified-buyer badges on every confirmed-purchase review
- Reviews carried onto a 700+ product coffee, machine and care catalog
- Native WooCommerce install on the existing theme, no custom development
- Rich-snippet schema on product pages for Google search results
Review collection on autopilot
Every WooCommerce order triggers the review flow, and verified ratings feed the PDP and the category grid from the same review pool.
Every new Coffee Guru order keeps the review pool growing. PDPs and the category grid keep updating with the latest verified feedback.
1,200+ verified reviews, working on the PDP and the category grid
Coffee Guru sells two very different things on the same WooCommerce store. Coffee beans and capsules that customers reorder, and espresso machines that run from a few hundred to over 1,000 EUR. Both deserve a clear trust signal at the moment the shopper is comparing two products, not buried at the bottom of a product page. WiserReview puts Star Rating under every product title and on every product card in the Kafija, Kafijas automāti, Apkope and Gourmet Guru categories. A shopper scanning 30 coffee beans or four DeLonghi machines sees the verdict at a glance, and clicks into a PDP with the full Product Reviews block already loaded.
Star Rating under every product title. Star counts on every product card. Full Product Reviews block on every PDP. One review pool doing the work across the Coffee Guru storefront.
A real Coffee Guru review
Coffee
Thank you for the delivery and the coffee is super fast and the coffee is delicious. I can only mention about the Beileys capsules, something is not really right, because when I make the drink, the capsule in the machine almost explodes and everything inside the coffee machine is sticky and it runs along all the edges, this has not happened to any other capsules, these are Beileys cappuccino capsules, maybe I'm the only one who has had this happen, but it's strange, they are all the same in a row and make me a mess in the machine. But overall everything is always good and there are no other complaints.

“We have been selling coffee for over a decade and our customers leave feedback we want everyone to read. WiserReview kept our 1,200+ Judge.me reviews intact on WooCommerce, and now every product card across our catalog shows a star rating before the click. The trust signal does the work we used to do on the phone.”
About this case study
What platform does Coffee Guru use?
Coffee Guru runs on WordPress with WooCommerce. The storefront at coffeeguru.lv sells coffee beans, ground coffee, capsules (Dolce Gusto, Lavazza A Modo Mio, Lavazza Blue, Illy IperEspresso, Nespresso), espresso machines from DeLonghi, JURA, Nivona, Melitta, Saeco, Philips, Stollar and SAGE, plus a full care range and the Gourmet Guru line, with prices in EUR.
Does WiserReview work on WooCommerce?
Yes. WiserReview installs as a native WooCommerce plugin with no custom theme development. Star Rating, Product Reviews and the category-grid star counts all run on the existing WooCommerce theme, the same way they do on Coffee Guru's coffeeguru.lv storefront.
How many reviews did Coffee Guru migrate to WiserReview?
Over 1,200 product reviews were migrated from Judge.me to WiserReview. Star ratings, written feedback, submission dates and reviewer details came across, with every review staying linked to the correct Coffee Guru product across a 700+ SKU catalog of beans, capsules, machines and care supplies.
What review tool did Coffee Guru use before WiserReview?
Coffee Guru previously used Judge.me. They switched to WiserReview to keep their existing 1,200+ verified reviews while putting Star Rating on the category grid and running Product Reviews on every PDP from one platform on WooCommerce.
How long did the Judge.me to WiserReview switch take?
a day of configuration. Coffee Guru connected the WooCommerce store, imported the Judge.me review set, and the two widgets (Product Reviews and Star Rating) went live on the existing theme with no custom development. Star Rating then extended onto every category-grid product card.
Where do star ratings show on coffeeguru.lv?
Star Rating sits under every product title on the PDP, and on every product card across the Kafija, Kafijas automāti, Apkope and Gourmet Guru category grids. Each card shows the average star rating and the number of reviews (Atsauksmes), so a shopper comparing 30 coffee beans or four DeLonghi machines sees the trust signal before they click.
Can WiserReview handle Coffee Guru's 700+ product catalog?
Yes. Products sync automatically from WooCommerce, widgets appear on every PDP and on every category card, and display performance stays the same across the full Coffee Guru catalog of beans, capsules, espresso machines and care supplies.
How does Coffee Guru collect new reviews after the migration?
Every WooCommerce order triggers an automated review request email once the coffee, capsules, machine or care item has had time to ship and arrive, with a reminder if there is no response. Each new review goes live on the exact product with a verified-buyer badge, rolls into the product star rating and surfaces on the category grid for the next shopper.
Running a WooCommerce store with thousands of Judge.me reviews?
Migrate your Judge.me reviews into WiserReview without losing history. Star Rating on every PDP and on the category grid, live in a day on WooCommerce.
