I ordered 4 7-8 oz lobster tails and 4 5-6 oz lobster tails with this order. This was my first time having fresh lobster sent via mail. I was highly impressed with the packaging. UPS delivers late in my neighborhood/ 5 pm and the ice packs were still very much frozen as were the lobster tails. I thawed 2 out for grilling and found the guidelines provided on the shop lobster website very helpful. The recipes provided and the helpful hints were wonderful. The website is very intuitive and easy to find any information that one might need. Any questions I had about placing the order, the owner himself responded in a timely manner. I can tell this family owned company takes a lot of pride in their product being fresh. I enjoyed ocean to table fresh lobster tails on the grill and look forward to my next shipment. Thanks so much!

Having spent time in Maine, I think I’m a good judge of lobster and Shop Lobster delivered the most fresh lobster I’ve had while living in the mid-west. We received very quickly in good condition. We have already enjoyed 2 tails with great steak! I did note, it was very clean prepped & easy took 5 mins to get it ready for the grill. It was so tender & juicy! I’m basically a lobster snob. I’m from Nova Scotia living in USA, I know my lobster 😌 I stopped ordering in restaurants, it’s always over cooked & over priced. Can’t wait to make a seafood Scampi with the meat & my fav lobster roll! Yummy! This is not an everyday meal, yes it cost a bit more, but it’s a delicacy! I have ordered from other fresh fish companies but found the meat was too wet when thawed, which of course causes it to be mushy. This really tasted like I just picked it up off the wharf like we did back home. Anyway, very satisfied, great seafood, buy it!!
