Judge.me vs Stamped.io, and when to pick neither (2026)

Judge.me is Shopify-only now, Stamped.io dropped its free plan, and their prices moved. Verified 2026 tiers, the honest trade, and when to pick neither.

Stamped.io vs Judge.me 2026 comparison cover

Judge.me and Stamped.io both rewrote their deals after most comparisons were written, but in opposite directions.

Judge.me kept its Forever Free plan and $15 ceiling but cut every platform except Shopify, completing the shutdown on January 31, 2026. Stamped.io kept its platform list but cut the free plan and trial entirely, and its Loyalty product now lists at $299 a month.

So this comparison starts with a platform question before a price question. On Shopify, both compete. Off it, one of them already left.

I run WiserReview, a review platform that competes with both, so read this with that in mind. Every number below was verified against live App Store listings and pricing pages in August 2026.

Quick verdict: Judge.me or Stamped.io?

Judge.me wins on price for Shopify stores. Stamped.io wins when NPS and loyalty justify order tiers. Off Shopify, neither is the strong pick.

Pick Judge.me if you’re on Shopify and reviews are the whole job. Unlimited collection with photo and video at $0, everything else at $15 flat, at any order volume.

Pick Stamped.io if you’re mid-market and want reviews, NPS, and loyalty from one vendor. The in-email review form and lifecycle tools are real advantages that cost real money.

Pick neither if your store runs on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, or Squarespace and you want first-class support there. Judge.me left those platforms; Stamped’s depth on Shopify is thinner, and that’s the gap WiserReview fills.

What changed for Judge.me and Stamped.io in 2026?

Judge.me narrowed its platforms, Stamped.io narrowed its entry points, and the old versions of both deals still circulate in comparison posts.

Judge.me went Shopify-exclusive

In its own help center announcement, Judge.me confirmed the staged shutdown of its WooCommerce, Square, Squarespace, BigCommerce, Duda, and PrestaShop apps, to be completed on January 31, 2026. Reviews imported into a new Shopify store lose verified status and drop out of the Google Shopping ratings feed.

Stamped.io closed the free door

The 2025 restructure removed the free plan and the free trial. The Reviews ladder is now $23 for 200 orders, $99 for 1,000, and $199 for 5,000, with custom pricing beyond 20,000 orders. Overage fees were eliminated in June 2025 in favor of tier upgrades.

Loyalty is a separate product, currently listed at $299 a month on the App Store. Yearly billing brings Basic to about $19 and Growth to about $79.

What does this comparison mean?

The platform question now comes first. A WooCommerce or BigCommerce store can’t pick Judge.me at all and picks Stamped, knowing Shopify gets the best of it. On Shopify, the trade is clean: a $15 ceiling against order tiers that buy a wider system.

Judge.me overview: the $15 ceiling

Judge.me homepage with its Built for Shopify positioning

Judge.me claims to have 450,000+ stores and holds a 5.0 rating from 43,292 merchants on the App Store, making it the most-reviewed review app on Shopify.

What it does well: the price structure. Forever Free includes unlimited review requests with text, photo, and video, rich snippets, and Q&A. Awesome at $15 flat adds branding removal, Google Shopping syndication, coupons, SMS requests, AI reply drafts, and cross-shop syndication. The bill never moves with volume.

Judge.me review widget on a product page

The Klaviyo integration is deep and included; the widget is among the lightest in the category, and CSV export is painless.

Where it stops: breadth and borders. No NPS, no loyalty, no in-email submission form, and no Google Seller Ratings. Design customization runs shallower than premium brands want. And it’s Shopify-only now.

Ideal fit: Shopify stores of any size that want reviews handled completely at the lowest possible cost.

Stamped.io overview: the mid-market platform

Stamped.io homepage with its loyalty and retention positioning

Stamped.io holds a 4.7 rating from 3,398 merchants on the App Store and runs brands such as Dr. Squatch, OSEA Malibu, and Olipop. It sells three products on one platform: Reviews, Loyalty, and Lifecycle.

What it does well: collection mechanics and breadth. The in-email review form lets customers submit without clicking through to a page, which Stamped says doubles collection rates. NPS surveys are built-in, checkout reviews work on Shopify, the Shop app syncs in both directions, and a Bazaarvoice partnership opens a retail syndication path to Walmart and Target listings.

Where it stops: the doors and the seams. There’s no free plan or trial anymore; video reviews and AI sentiment are in the $199 Business tier, and loyalty is a second bill starting at $299. Off Shopify, the integrations run thinner, and reviewers note that Reviews and Loyalty can feel like two separate apps.

Ideal fit: mid-market Shopify brands that will use NPS and lifecycle tooling, not only the review widget.

Where WiserReview fits: the platforms both left open

WiserReview homepage, a product review tool that works across Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace and Ecwid

WiserReview is my product, so judge this section accordingly. It exists for the store; this comparison quietly excludes anyone whose platform isn’t Shopify or whose plans might outgrow it.

What it does: collects reviews via email, SMS, WhatsApp, and QR code; displays them in 18+ widgets, with photo and video on every plan; and syncs rich snippets, Google Shopping product ratings, and Google Seller Ratings, the star type neither app here offers.

WiserReview review management dashboard

It runs on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, Magento, PrestaShop, and headless builds, billed per review request: $9 for 1,000 per month, $19 for 3,000, $31 for 5,000 with the AI suite.

Where it stops: no NPS, no loyalty program, and no in-email submission form, so it doesn’t replace Stamped’s platform jobs. No free plan either, so Judge.me’s $0 tier wins the zero-budget case on Shopify outright.

Ideal fit: multi-platform stores, WooCommerce and BigCommerce stores wanting first-class support, and stores that want both Google star types on one $9 bill. Spec sheets: WiserReview vs Judge.me and WiserReview vs Stamped.io.

Pricing compared: flat, tiered, and metered

Judge.me runs at $0 or $15 flat; Stamped.io runs from $23 to $199 by order tier, plus $299 for loyalty; and WiserReview runs from $9 to $31 per request.

Judge.me pricing

Plan Cost What you get
Forever Free $0/mo Unlimited review requests, text, photo, and video reviews, rich snippets, Q&A, Judge.me branding
Awesome $15/mo flat Branding removal, Google Shopping syndication, coupons, SMS requests, AI reply drafts, cross-shop syndication

Two tiers, no meter. The $15 plan is the whole paid product.

Stamped.io pricing

Plan Cost What it covers
Basic $23/mo 200 orders a month, core review collection, and widgets
Growth $99/mo 1,000 orders a month
Business $199/mo 5,000 orders a month; video reviews, Q&A, and AI sentiment unlock here
Enterprise Custom 20,000+ orders a month
Loyalty From $299/mo Separate product: points, VIP tiers, referrals

No free plan, no trial, no overage fees since June 2025; you upgrade tiers instead. Yearly billing: Basic is about $19, Growth is about $79. Full tier map in my Stamped.io pricing breakdown.

WiserReview pricing

Plan Cost What’s included
Starter $9/mo 1,000 review requests, photo and video, widgets, rich snippets, seller ratings
Pro $19/mo 3,000 requests, unlimited reviews, more video, testimonial forms, team seats
Pro + AI $31/mo 5,000 requests, AI replies, sentiment, summaries, and translation on top of Pro

Billed by review requests sent, no overage fees, yearly billing takes 3 months off, and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial.

The worked example at 1,000 orders a month: Stamped Growth is $99, Judge.me Awesome is $15, WiserReview Pro covers it at $19. The video gate is starker: video reviews cost $199 on Stamped, $0 on Judge.me, and are included on every WiserReview plan.

What Stamped’s premium buys is the system: in-email collection, NPS, lifecycle flows, and a loyalty add-on. If those run, the tiers earn their keep. If only the review widget runs, you’re paying platform prices for an app job.

Features beyond pricing

Review collection

Stamped’s in-email form is the standout mechanic: submission without a click-through. Judge.me wins on volume per dollar, with unlimited requests starting at $0. WiserReview collects on four channels, including WhatsApp, which neither offers.

Winner: Stamped on mechanics, Judge.me on volume per dollar, WiserReview on channels.

NPS and loyalty

Stamped, uncontested. NPS is built-in, and loyalty is a first-party product for $299. Judge.me and WiserReview both stop at reviews; if loyalty is a maybe rather than a plan, a $9-$15 review tool plus a dedicated loyalty app later beats buying it bundled today.

Winner: Stamped, the only one selling the retention system.

Google syndication

Product stars: all three deliver. Stamped with its Shopping feed and rich snippets, Judge.me from $15, WiserReview from $9. Google Seller Ratings for text ads: neither Judge.me nor Stamped offers them; WiserReview includes them.

Winner: WiserReview, the only one covering both star types.

Who should pick which app?

Judge.me fits every price-sensitive Shopify store, Stamped.io fits mid-market brands using the wider system, and WiserReview fits the stores off Shopify.

Judge.me is right for

  1. Any Shopify store watching the bill. Reviews handled at $0 or $15 flat, with no meter, regardless of order volume.
  2. Stores running Klaviyo. The deep integration is included in every plan.
  3. Lean teams. The lightest widget in the category and painless CSV export if plans change.

Stamped.io is right for

  1. Mid-market Shopify brands using the system. NPS, lifecycle flows, and loyalty from one vendor justify the order tiers.
  2. Stores are chasing collection rates. The in-email submission form is the best collection mechanism in this comparison.
  3. Brands eyeing retail shelves. The Bazaarvoice partnership opens a path to syndication for Walmart and Target listings.

WiserReview is right for

  1. Stores off Shopify. First-class WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, and Squarespace support among ten platforms.
  2. Stores that want both Google star types. Product ratings and Seller Ratings from $9.
  3. Brands collecting over WhatsApp and SMS. Four collection channels on every plan.

For the stores this comparison leaves out

Ten platforms, both Google star types, and video on every plan from $9 a month, with a 7-day trial.

Wrap up: and when to pick neither

On Shopify, with reviews as the whole job, Judge.me and the $15 ceiling are the argument. On Shopify with NPS and loyalty in the plan: Stamped.io, priced accordingly.

And neither, in three cases. Your store runs on a platform Judge.me left, and Stamped treats it as secondary. You want Google Seller Ratings next to product stars, which neither sells at any price. Or you want video reviews without a $199 tier.

Those three cases are the same store more often than not, and it’s the store WiserReview was built for.

Match your platform first, then your feature list, then the bill.
