Brands look for a Judge.me alternative for one of two reasons: Judge.me no longer runs on their platform, or they have outgrown what a $15 flat product reviews app does on Shopify.
The first group is large. Judge.me announced that it would focus its engineering and support on Shopify, then switched off every other platform on the staged timeline in its sunset announcement.
Stores on WooCommerce, Square and Squarespace lost support on 31 October 2025, Duda on 31 December 2025, BigCommerce on 12 January 2026 and PrestaShop on 31 January 2026.
Common reasons to evaluate alternatives include:
- Platform sunset: your store is on WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Squarespace, Square, Duda or PrestaShop, and Judge.me stopped working.
- No Google Seller Ratings: Judge.me syndicates product stars to Google Shopping on Awesome, but it does not collect the seller reviews Google needs for Seller Ratings in text ads.
- Branding and design limits: the free plan keeps Judge.me branding on review widgets and request emails, and carousel, grid and badge styling stays basic.
- Consolidation: brands that want product reviews, user-generated content, loyalty and referral programs and surveys from one vendor move to Okendo, Yotpo or Stamped.
- Data ownership: WooCommerce owners who lost access to their Judge.me data in November 2025 now want reviews stored in their own database.
Original insight: Judge.me’s export tool was only available until each platform’s sunset date. Stores that waited lost the reviews outright. Whatever you choose next, export a CSV in the first week and again every quarter.
Judge.me on WooCommerce and WordPress: What Changed?
Judge.me stopped working on WooCommerce and WordPress on 31 October 2025, removed store access on 19 November 2025, and closed its WordPress.org plugin permanently at the author’s request.
- 13 August 2025: the Judge.me Product Reviews for WooCommerce plugin was closed on WordPress.org. The listing says the closure is permanent.
- 31 October 2025: official support ended for WooCommerce, with admin access kept open until 19 November 2025 for exports.
- 19 November 2025: WooCommerce stores lost access to their Judge.me admin and data.
- Now: the [jgm- shortcodes left in WordPress themes render nothing, and Judge.me’s help center marks the WooCommerce export steps as no longer available.
Are Judge.me reviews on WooCommerce gone?
Yes, unless you exported before 19 November 2025. Judge.me states that access to all functionality and data was permanently removed after the sunset date, and the plugin folder on your site never held the review text.
Two smaller details from the same help article matter for migration. Videos were never included in the CSV export, even for stores that exported in time.
And reviews imported into a new tool cannot be re-verified against orders the new tool never saw, so verified-buyer badges usually do not carry over.
Which Judge.me alternatives work on WordPress now?
Four tools on this list install on WooCommerce and WordPress today, each with a maintained plugin in the WordPress.org directory: WiserReview, Customer Reviews for WooCommerce, ReviewX and Ryviu.
Yotpo lists WooCommerce as supported, but its plugin lags several WordPress releases behind and its pricing FAQ warns that non-Shopify platforms may need extra implementation work. Stamped runs WooCommerce through a custom-platform setup rather than a plugin.
Loox, Okendo and Fera do not install on WooCommerce at all. Fera’s help center says Fera Reviews is not currently available for WooCommerce users, and Loox and Okendo are built for Shopify only.
Wiremo is a smaller option with its own WooCommerce plugin, priced at $19.99 a month for 1,000 request emails with unlimited stored reviews.
It did not make the top ten because of its small install base of around 600 sites.
Removing the leftover Judge.me plugin
Judge.me’s own removal steps are short. Open Appearance > Customize, find any Shortcode blocks that hold a [jgm- shortcode, and delete them.
Stores built with page builders should check the Shortcode, HTML or Code modules in Elementor, Beaver Builder or Divi.
Then go to Plugins > Installed Plugins, deactivate Judge.me Product Reviews for WooCommerce, and delete it. Nothing else on the site depends on it.

Customer Reviews for WooCommerce, usually called CusRev, is the best free Judge.me alternative for WooCommerce because it stores every review as a native WooCommerce review in your own database and sends unlimited review invitations at no cost.
CusRev is a WordPress plugin, not a hosted platform. It has around 80,000 active installs and a 4.8 rating from 1,531 reviews on WordPress.org.
The free Basic version includes automated reminder emails, manual invitations, product and store reviews, photo and video reviews, and a Google Shopping integration. Automatic follow-up sequences, custom branding, the visual email editor and email support sit on Professional.
CusRev charges per site. Basic is free forever. Professional is $7.99 a month plus VAT, or $59.99 a year plus VAT.
Customer Reviews for WooCommerce is a good fit when:
- You came from Judge.me’s free plan and refuse to pay for review requests.
- You want reviews to survive any vendor’s shutdown, inside wp_comments.
- Email is the only request channel you need.

Stamped is the Judge.me alternative for larger brands that want reviews, a loyalty program and post-purchase email flows from one vendor, and it changed its pricing model in 2026.
Stamped now sells three products, Repeat, Loyalty and Reviews, each on its own subscription metered by monthly order volume.
The Reviews product covers in-email review collection, photo and video UGC, Q&A, Net Promoter Score, sentiment analysis, Google Product Ratings, Google Seller Ratings and review syndication across stores, with two domains included.
Shopify checkout reviews are Shopify only, and WooCommerce runs through Stamped’s custom-platform setup. Its help center covers WooCommerce with a single troubleshooting article, so ask support for a current install guide before you sign.

Choose a Judge.me alternative by filtering on platform first, then on the unit each vendor meters, then on Google star types, then on the review widgets, imports and integrations your store depends on.
- Confirm the platform. Loox, Okendo and Fera do not run on WooCommerce. CusRev and ReviewX run only there. WiserReview, Yotpo, REVIEWS.io, Stamped and Ryviu cross platforms.
