Reviews.io vs Birdeye: price tag or sales call? (2026)
Reviews.io publishes an invite-metered price tag from $29 per domain. Birdeye sells multi-location reputation on a quote, reported at $299 to $449 per location. Which is better for whom, the real 2026 costs, and the $19 product-review option.

Reviews.io and Birdeye get compared constantly, and the comparison usually ends at the pricing page. Reviews.io shows a price tag. Birdeye shows a form that asks how many locations you run and which number to call you on.
That’s not a quirk of web design. It’s the whole difference between the two products.
Reviews.io sells review collection to one brand at a listed, invite-metered price per domain. Birdeye sells a quoted, per-location reputation platform to multi-location businesses, on a contract, after a sales conversation.
I run WiserReview, a product-review tool for online stores, so I compete with the ecommerce side of this and I’ll flag it wherever it matters.
Every listed price below was read off the live pricing pages in August 2026. Birdeye’s numbers are reported quotes, and I’ll say so each time they appear.
A price tag for product reviews: $19 a month

Pick Birdeye if you run several physical locations, you want reviews, listings, messaging, and social under one contract, and you have the budget for a quoted per-location platform.
Pick Reviews.io if you’re one brand, mostly online, that wants product and company reviews, Google Seller Ratings, and rich snippets from a published price starting at $29 a month per domain.
Pick WiserReview if you run an online store and want verified product reviews with both Google star types at $19 a month for 1,000 review requests, per workspace, with no sales call in the way.

What each one is for
Birdeye manages a business’s reviews across its locations. Reviews.io collects a brand’s reviews for its own website. The pricing page tells you which one you are.
Birdeye runs reputation for locations
Birdeye’s 2026 homepage leads with “AI Coworkers for Multi-location Brands.” Its Reviews AI agent asks customers for reviews, replies on-brand, and monitors 200+ review sites.
It sits next to Listings AI, Social AI, Messaging, Surveys, and a new Search AI aimed at Google, ChatGPT, and Perplexity visibility.
The buyer is a dental group, an auto dealer network, a property manager, or a retailer with dozens of storefronts. The unit of everything, from pricing to reporting, is the location.
Reviews.io collects reviews for a brand
Reviews.io invites your customers after a purchase, collects product and company reviews with photos and video, and displays them in widgets, rich snippets, Google Shopping, and Google Seller Ratings.
The unit is the domain. One brand, one website, one subscription, priced off a monthly invite slider you can read without talking to anyone.
The pricing-page test
Open both pricing pages. If you can find your monthly price by moving a slider, you’re the buyer Reviews.io and WiserReview were built for.
If the page asks for your location count and a phone number before it shows a number, you’re Birdeye’s buyer, and the number you get back will be per location, per year.
Reviews.io overview: a listed price for one brand’s reviews

Reviews.io is a product and company review platform that also sells UGC galleries and surveys, part of the clearer.io family with its Influence loyalty product. Its pricing page claims 10,000+ customers.
It holds a 4.7 from 701 reviews on the Shopify listing and shows a 4.8 G2 badge on its homepage. Integrations cover Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Shopware, Klaviyo, Gorgias, and TikTok Shop.
What it does well: the ecommerce review stack. Review Booster mails past customers, Flows time invites by product or country, video-first campaigns collect video, and Google Seller Ratings, rich snippets, and Google Shopping ratings all ship from the Start-Up plan.
Where it stops: multi-location depth. The Google Business Profile integration, Branches for grouping reviews by location, and the Reputation Manager all start on Grow at $175 or more, and there’s no listings management, messaging inbox, or social publishing at all.
Ideal fit: a single brand, ecommerce or service, that wants verified reviews on its own site plus Google ad and Shopping stars, at a price it can read.

Birdeye overview: a quoted platform for every location

Birdeye is a reputation and customer-experience platform for multi-location businesses, sold through a sales team on a quote.
Its 2026 pitch is three AI coworkers: Jay for marketing, Myna for operations, and Robin for customer experience, each running agents across every location.
Reviews AI generates review requests, drafts on-brand responses, turns the best reviews into social posts, tracks a reputation score per location, and benchmarks competitors. Around it sit Listings AI, Social AI, Messaging, Chatbot, Surveys, Insights AI, and 3,000+ integrations.
Birdeye’s own pages claim 128% more reviews in the first 90 days, a 4.8 average rating across customer locations, and the #1 spot on G2 overall and in the Enterprise segment. Those are its numbers, not mine.
What it does well: scale. Michaels, Black Bear Diner, and WellStreet Urgent Care run it across hundreds of locations, with practice-management, DMS, POS, and CRM integrations feeding the review requests.
Where it stops: the store. There’s no product-review collection tied to orders, no product-page rich snippets, no Google Shopping ratings feed, and no listed price. A website with no locations has nothing to buy.
Ideal fit: multi-location brands in dental, healthcare, auto, home services, property, and retail chains that want reviews, listings, and messaging under one contract.

Product reviews Birdeye doesn't collect
Verified product reviews against real orders on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and seven more platforms. $19 for 1,000 requests, month to month.
Start Free Trial →WiserReview overview: the store’s product-review answer

WiserReview is my product, so weigh this section accordingly. It’s built for one job: verified product reviews on an online store, collected against real orders and displayed where they sell.
What it does: collects reviews by email, SMS, WhatsApp, and QR code, with each send counting as one review request, then displays them in 18 widget types with photo and video on every plan.
Google Shopping product stars, rich snippets, and Google seller ratings sync from the $9 Starter plan, and AI moderation and AI replies run on every plan. Pro + AI adds review summaries, smart topics, and product review insights.

It runs on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, Magento, PrestaShop, and headless builds, and signup is self-serve with a 7-day trial.
Starter is $9 for 100 review requests a month, Pro is $19 for 1,000, and Pro + AI starts at $31, each per workspace. The spec-by-spec version lives on WiserReview vs. Birdeye.
Where it stops: it isn’t a local reputation platform. No listings management, no messaging inbox, no social publishing, no per-location reputation monitoring, and no loyalty beyond a $6 referral add-on.
Ideal fit: online stores on any platform that want the product-review job done at a listed price, without a demo call.
Three buyers, three answers
Stores, multi-location chains, and single-location service businesses each land on a different tool. The wrong pick buys a quote or a stack you can’t use.
The online store wants product reviews, rich snippets, and Google stars. Reviews.io does it from $79 with Seller Ratings, WiserReview for $19 at the same 1,000-request volume. Birdeye has no product-review layer to sell it.
The 12-location chain wants Google reviews, listings, and a shared inbox for every branch. That’s Birdeye’s home turf. Reviews.io reaches Google Business Profile reviews from Grow, but there’s no listings or messaging layer underneath.
The single-location service business sits in the middle. Reviews.io Essentials at $29 covers company reviews, and Grow at $175 adds the Google integration.
A Birdeye quote for one location starts far higher by the reported numbers below, and WiserReview isn’t built for that buyer.
For chains weighing Birdeye against a public review marketplace instead, my Birdeye vs Trustpilot comparison covers that pairing.
Pricing compared: a listed slider vs a quote per location
Reviews.io publishes an invite-slider price per domain. Birdeye publishes nothing and quotes per location on a contract. WiserReview publishes a per-workspace price by review requests.
Reviews.io pricing

| Plan | Cost (by monthly invites) | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 25 invites a month, product and company reviews, photo and video, basic widgets |
| Essentials | $29/mo | Up to 300 invites, automated collection, 15+ widgets |
| Start-Up | $79 at 1,000 invites, $99 at 1,500 | Google Seller Ratings, rich snippets, Google Shopping, review importing, Klaviyo, 100 SMS |
| Grow | $175 at 1,000 invites, $299 at 5,000 | Reputation Manager, Google Local, Branches, AI review summary, competitor analysis, contract buyout |
| Plus | $499 to $500/mo, up to 10,000 invites | AI replies, translation, customer success manager, shoppable UGC, Bazaarvoice syndication, API |
The pricing plans page prices each tier off the invite slider, every top-level domain is its own subscription, annual billing takes 20% off, and the trial runs 14 days.
Shopify stores also see a separate in-app ladder: Free, Launch at $19 for 50 invites with Seller Ratings, and Launch Plus at $45 for 500.
Birdeye pricing

| Tier (reported) | Reported quote per location per month | What it’s reported to include |
|---|---|---|
| Starter (Standard) | $299 to $349 | Reviews, listings, messaging inbox, webchat |
| Growth (Professional) | $399 to $599 | Adds Social AI, surveys, richer reporting |
| Dominate (Premium) | $449 to $699+ | Adds AI insights, benchmarking, deeper integrations |
| Enterprise | Custom | Volume pricing for large location counts |
Birdeye’s pricing page lists no numbers. It asks for your email, company, location band (1-3 up to 1,000+), and mobile number, under the line “Pricing built around outcomes, not seat counts. One platform, one contract.”
The figures in the table are quotes reported in my Birdeye pricing guide: $299 to $449 per location per month for most buyers, on annual contracts, with setup and SMS billed separately.
Treat them as a range to expect, not a price you can click.
WiserReview pricing
| Plan | Cost per workspace | What’s included |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $9/mo | 100 review requests, unlimited published reviews, 20 video reviews, Google Shopping stars, rich snippets, AI moderation and replies, no branding |
| Pro | $19, $29, or $49/mo | 1,000, 3,000, or 5,000 requests, 100 video reviews, Q&A, Klaviyo, WATI, Zapier, multi-store sync, auto-translation (credits) |
| Pro + AI | $31, $41, or $61/mo | Same request tiers plus AI review summary, smart topics, and product review insights |
Billed per workspace, which means per domain, on a monthly review-request meter, month to month, with yearly billing taking 3 months off and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Every plan opens with a 7-day free trial.
The like-for-like check: a store sending 1,000 requests a month with Google Seller Ratings pays $79 at Reviews.io and $19 here.
A 5-location chain on Birdeye’s reported Starter quotes budgets $1,495 to $1,745 a month before setup and SMS, for a product neither review tool replaces.
Reviews.io vs Birdeye based on reviews: what users say
Reviews.io holds a verifiable 4.7 from 701 Shopify reviews. Birdeye claims #1 on G2 but publishes no count I could verify.
Of those 701 Shopify ratings, 92% are five stars and 4% are one star. The listing’s most recent reviews, from July and August 2026, praise the Google Seller Ratings display, the support team, and the migration help.
The same reviews complain that review reminders sit above Start-Up, that plan prices rose without notice, and that the in-app plan isn’t shown on the listing.
Birdeye’s customer stories on its own site are multi-location operators: a 1,700-location mortgage lender citing 905% more reviews, a 167-location urgent care group citing 88,800 new reviews.
Third-party review sites list it too, but G2, Capterra, and Trustpilot all blocked my checks, so I’m not printing numbers from them.
I won’t rate my own product here. WiserReview’s case studies are on its site, and the 7-day trial is the honest way to judge it.
Who should pick which platform?
The location count decides before the features do: zero locations means a review tool, several locations means a reputation platform.
Birdeye is right for
- Multi-location brands with a reputation budget. Reviews, listings, messaging, and social across every branch, on one contract.
- Regulated and appointment-driven industries. Dental, healthcare, auto, and property groups with practice-management and CRM integrations feeding review requests.
- Teams that want AI agents, not just AI features. Review responses, listings optimization, and social publishing run autonomously or on approval.
Reviews.io is right for
- One brand that wants reviews plus a Google layer. Product reviews, company reviews, Seller Ratings, and rich snippets from a listed price.
- Stores that want UGC and surveys in the same tool. Galleries, video collection, NPS on Plus, and Klaviyo flows.
- A service brand with a few branches. Company reviews from $29; the Google Business Profile integration and Branches from $175.
WiserReview is right for
- Online stores that want the product-review job at $19. 1,000 requests, photo and video, both Google star types, self-serve.
- Stores off Shopify. WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and headless builds get the same feature set.
- Anyone who won’t book a call to see a price. The slider is on the pricing page, and the trial starts from signup.
Self-serve from signup to widget
Install, collect, and display product reviews the same day. $19 a month per workspace, 7-day free trial, 14-day money-back guarantee.
Start Free Trial →Wrap up: price tag or sales call?
Reviews.io and Birdeye only compete in search results. One sells a brand its own reviews at a listed price, from $29 per domain.
The other sells multi-location businesses a reputation platform on a quote, reported at $299 to $449 per location per month, once a sales call sets the number.
Buying for one online brand: Reviews.io for reviews plus a Google layer, WiserReview at $19 for the product reviews themselves. Running locations: Birdeye, with its rivals one guide away.
And if you’re a store that took the sales call anyway, your reviews leave with you. The export-and-import steps in my guide to migrate from Reviews.io work the same way for most tools.
