How to Set Up the Question & Answer Widget (Q&A) in WiserReview

The Q&A Widget enables you to display genuine customer questions and answers on your product pages. This helps new visitors access helpful information and builds trust before making a purchase.

Follow the steps below to create and display your Q&A section.

Note: Before starting, make sure you’ve installed and activated the required app or plugin based on your platform:

  • WooCommerce plugin
  • Shopify app
  • PrestaShop module
  • Squarespace app

Step 1: Create the Q&A Widget

1. In your WiserReview dashboard, go to the left menu and click on Widgets.

2. Scroll down and find the Question & Answer widget.

3. Click the Configure button under it.

This will open the Q&A widget editor, where you can set layout, colors, and more.

Step 2: Customize the Widget Layout

Inside the widget editor:

1. Choose a Layout under the “Design” tab.

2. Make sure to check:

  • Show Q&A tab
  • Show the “Ask a question” button
  • Search box
  • Show load more button

3. You can change the tab names (like “Reviews” and “Questions”) to match your brand voice.

4. Use the Preview on the right to see how it will look before going live.

When you’re happy with the design, click Save.

Step 3: Import Q&A Data from CSV (If You Have It)

If you already have a list of questions and answers, you can import them all at once.

1. Go to Manage Reviews from the left menu.

2. Click on the Question Answer tab at the top.

3. Click the Import questions button.

4. Upload your CSV file by clicking Add file.

5. Use the Download sample CSV link if you need a format example.

6. Once the file is added, click Import.

Your questions will be added and can be published or edited at any time.

Optional: Add Q&As Manually

If you don’t have a file, you can also add questions manually:

  1. Click Add questions in the same tab.

  2. Enter the Question, Answer, and select products.

  3. Choose whether to Publish or Unpublish it.

  4. Click Add to save.

That’s it!

Your Question & Answer widget is now set up and ready to go! Whether you’re importing or manually adding questions, your customers can now interact and get answers directly on your product pages,  building more trust and increasing sales.
