Reviews Site – Feature Documentation

What it is

The Reviews Site is a public, hosted, SEO-optimized page that turns the merchant’s collected reviews into a standalone web page at:

https://wiserreview.com/store/{slug}

The merchant toggles it on/off (“Turn on” / “Turn off”), customizes the URL slug, and fills in store details that render on the public page. WiserReview hosts and serves the page – the merchant does not need to build anything on their own site.

What the Merchant Configures

1. Public Page URL (required)

  • Custom slug (e.g. /store/my-store), plus Copy + Preview buttons.
  • The page’s web address is shareable and crawlable.

2. Store Details (required)

  • Category, description (<=400 chars), banner image, logo.
  • Brand identity + crawlable on-page content.

3. Collect-Review Form (required)

  • Select an active review form.
  • Links the page to a live form so visitors can leave reviews.

4. Trust & Contact Info

  • Email (required), phone, contact page (required), and full address.
  • Trust signals + NAP data (Name / Address / Phone).

5. Policies, Payments & Social

  • Shipping & return policies (link or written), payment methods, social links.
  • Buyer-confidence + brand-entity signals.

6. Seo Settings

  • SEO title (<=60), meta description (<=160), social share image (1200×630), keywords.
  • Direct control of search/social metadata.

FIRST VISIT: the page auto-bootstraps from existing branding data (logo, email, store name/URL -> slug), so it is not empty out of the box.

Why does it help with seo

1. A Dedicated, Indexable Page For Review Content

Reviews embedded as a JS widget on a storefront are often rendered client-side and may not be reliably crawled/indexed. A standalone hosted page at a stable URL gives search engines a clean, crawlable HTML page whose primary content IS the reviews – the kind of fresh, User-generated content search engines reward.

2. Rich Result / Star Ratings In Search (Structured Data)

A reviews page with aggregate ratings is the natural place to emit Review / AggregateRating schema, which can surface star snippets in Google results – higher click-through than plain blue links.

3. Full Control Of Search & Social Metadata

The SEO section lets the merchant set the exact title tag, meta description, keywords, and Open Graph / social share image (1200×630). This controls how the page appears in:

  • Google search results (title + description)
  • Social shares (the share-image card on Facebook/X/LinkedIn)

If left blank, values are auto-generated from the store name and reviews, so the page never lacks metadata.

4. Trust & E-E-A-T Signals

Search engines (and shoppers) weigh trust signals heavily. This page

consolidates them:

  • NAP consistency (name, address, phone) helps local/entity SEO.
  • Contact page, support email/phone = legitimacy signals.
  • Policies (shipping, returns/refunds) = trust + content depth.
  • Payment methods & social links = brand-entity completeness.

which feeds knowledge-panel / entity recognition.

5. Fresh, Keyword-Rich UGC

Every new review adds unique, long-tail, keyword-rich text (customers describe products in their own words). This continuously refreshes the page – a positive ranking signal – and captures
long-tail “{product} reviews” queries.

6. Link-Building & Referral Surface

Because it is a real, shareable URL (Copy/Preview built in), merchants can link to it from their store footer, email signatures, and social media bios, building internal/external links and driving referral traffic to a conversion-oriented page.

7. Conversion Intent Capture

Shoppers who search for “{brand} reviews” are high-intent and often in a mid-purchase decision stage. Owning that SERP result (instead of a third-party site) keeps that traffic on a merchant-controlled, buyer-confidence-optimized page that links back to the store.

One-line Summary

The Reviews Site turns your collected reviews into a hosted, search-optimized public page (wiserreview.com/store/your-store) – giving you a crawlable, schema-ready destination that ranks for “{brand} reviews” searches, displays star snippets, controls your search/social metadata, and consolidates trust signals (contact, address, policies, payments, social) that boost both SEO and buyer confidence.
