#1 Google review widget for Jimdo
WiserReview embeds into any Jimdo page through the Widget (HTML) element. The same setup works on Jimdo Creator and Jimdo Dolphin sites. You don't need a developer.

Adding your Google reviews Carousel takes just a few clicks — no coding or plugins required.

Why Jimdo site owners add a Google review widget

How WiserReview embeds on Jimdo
WiserReview goes into a Jimdo Widget element, the same element you'd use for any custom HTML. The widget script loads asynchronously after Jimdo's first paint, so the page renders first and the widget fills in. It runs the same way on Creator and Dolphin sites.
Collect Google reviews
Gather reviews through email requests, QR codes, WhatsApp, or a direct link. Text, photo, and video are all supported. Customers can submit a review without leaving your Jimdo site.
Automate Google reviews
Trigger a review request after a contact form submission, a Jimdo Online Shop purchase, or a confirmed appointment. Set it once and the rest is hands-off.
Manage Google reviews
Choose which collected reviews to feature using content moderation (spam, profanity, policy violations) or curated selections. Curated widgets show a Testimonials badge so visitors can tell they're hand-picked.
Display Google reviews
Pick from carousels, walls, badges, popups, or a single-line rating snippet. The widget reads your Jimdo template's font stack automatically. You only override settings when you want to.

Who needs a Google review widget?
Best fit for Jimdo owners whose buyers want proof before they commit. Local services, small ecommerce shops, and event sites tend to see the biggest impact.
Local service businesses
Trades, cleaners, repair shops, and home services. Reviews next to the contact form do the heaviest lifting. The single-line rating in the header also works well on Jimdo Creator sites.
Jimdo Online Shop sellers
Small-batch retail and creator goods. A review wall above the product grid lifts conversion. The Widget element accepts the embed code on every paid Jimdo plan.
Restaurants and cafes
Embed a review wall above the reservation form or near the menu. Customers see what others rated before they book. Jimdo is popular in Europe for this exact use case.
Coaches, consultants, and therapists
Reviews on the services page increase booking inquiries. Tag-filter your widgets so the consulting page only shows consulting-tagged reviews.
Event venues and rental sites
Reviews near the inquiry form. Star ratings above the contact section tend to increase fill-rate across the hospitality customers we work with.
Anyone using Jimdo as their main site
If Jimdo powers your full site, the floating badge widget gives you site-wide social proof through Header HTML injection. Works on Pro plan and higher.
Add Google reviews to Jimdo in three steps

1. Connect your Google profile
Sign in to WiserReview and link your Google Business Profile. Your existing reviews usually show up within about a minute.
2. Pick a widget style
Pick the format that fits your page: review wall, carousel, floating badge, or single-line rating. The widget reads your Jimdo template's fonts on its own. You can override colors and spacing inside WiserReview.
3. Paste into a Jimdo Widget element
On Jimdo Creator, add a Widget element to your page and paste the WiserReview embed. On Jimdo Dolphin, use the Widget block in the AI editor. Save and the widget loads on the next page render. Requires a paid Jimdo plan.

Jimdo install methods and placement tips
Last verified on Jimdo Creator and Jimdo Dolphin in May 2026. Every tip below has been tested on real Jimdo sites, including the Online Shop layouts.
Method 1. Widget element on Jimdo Creator
This is the recommended setup for sites built in Jimdo Creator. The Widget element is available on every paid Creator plan and accepts the WiserReview embed as-is.
How
Click the + button between sections in your Jimdo Creator page editor. Pick the Widget element from the list. Paste the WiserReview embed code into the HTML field and click Save. Republish the page and the widget renders.
Method 2. Widget block on Jimdo Dolphin
Jimdo Dolphin is the AI-built editor for newer Jimdo sites. The Widget block works the same way as the Creator element, but lives inside the section-based editor.
How
In the Dolphin editor, add a new block to the section where you want the widget. Pick the Widget block from the content options. Paste the WiserReview embed. Save and publish. The widget inherits the section's background and width on its own.
Method 3. Header HTML for site-wide floating widgets
Use this when you want a floating badge or sticky review widget on every Jimdo page without editing each page one by one.
How
Go to your Jimdo dashboard, open the Site Settings, then Head Tags or Header HTML (the label varies by plan). Paste the WiserReview script tag there. Save once and the widget appears site-wide. Requires Pro plan or higher.
Creator vs Dolphin: which one are you using?
The two Jimdo editors look different and the labels for the same element differ. Picking the right one upfront saves time.
How
Creator has the traditional manual editor with a sidebar of elements and the Widget element. Dolphin has the AI-guided editor with section blocks and a Widget block inside the content menu. If your site URL ends in jimdofree.com or jimdosite.com and was built recently, you're probably on Dolphin. Older custom-domain sites are often on Creator.
Place the widget where buyers actually decide
On Jimdo sites, the placements that tend to convert best are right next to the contact form, above pricing or reservation tables, and inside service description sections.
How
For service businesses, the spot between the service description and the contact form works best. For Online Shop sellers, the review wall above the product grid is the strongest placement. The footer is a bad spot on Jimdo; engagement drops off sharply there.
Match the widget to your Jimdo template
Jimdo templates vary in their default fonts and section padding. The widget inherits the template's font stack automatically, but spacing may need tweaking.
How
If you're using Jimdo's Custom CSS option (Business plan and up), target the .wiser_review_wall class to tweak spacing or colors without going into the widget settings. For non-CSS users, the WiserReview design panel handles font weight, padding, and background tone.
Test in Jimdo Preview before publishing
Jimdo's Preview mode shows the widget the same way visitors will see it, including responsive breakpoints.
How
Use the Preview button at the top of the editor before publishing. A common gotcha: the Widget element shows a placeholder in the editor instead of the live widget. It only renders in Preview or after publishing. If it's still empty in Preview, an analytics-blocker extension is probably intercepting the WiserReview script.
