For others, it’s $119/month for features they’ll use maybe 30% of the time.

This is Okendo’s strongest feature, and it’s not close. The review capture flow is built for mobile first, customers can submit photos and videos without friction, and the galleries that display on product pages look genuinely good.
Okendo reports a 4.2x average conversion rate lift on product pages with visual reviews. The agencies I’ve spoken to who manage high-volume Shopify accounts say these numbers hold up across their clients.
The Smart Review Form also collects attribute-specific feedback: sizing accuracy, scent strength, product quality, whatever matters for your category.
Shoppers can filter reviews by these attributes, which means someone buying a size 8 dress doesn’t have to wade through reviews from plus-size customers to find relevant feedback.

Okendo is an official Google Reviews partner. Your product reviews feed directly into Google Shopping and Google Ads with rich star ratings.
For brands running Shopping campaigns, this alone can be worth the subscription.

Where Okendo falls short
Shopify only. No exceptions

Pricing that punishes growth
Okendo uses an order-volume pricing model. Here’s what that means in practice: your busiest month costs the most. A great Black Friday spikes your bill along with your sales.
One Capterra reviewer flagged this directly: “We are on an annual plan which bills monthly, but during Black Friday, we had more orders than ever, so we ran out of credits.
I found the additional credits very expensive (2x more per credit than our plan). I wish the additional credits were cheaper.”
For stores with predictable, steady order volume, this model is fine. For seasonal businesses or brands with high variation month to month, it creates real budget uncertainty.
The Klaviyo integration (which most Shopify brands need) requires the Power plan at $299/month. If you’re on the Essential plan at $19/month and expecting Klaviyo sync, you’ll hit a wall.

Limited retail syndication scope
The Bazaarvoice partnership covers 1,900+ retail sites, but that feature is locked to higher-tier plans. On Essential or Growth, you get Google and TikTok syndication. Retail partner syndication requires Advanced or Enterprise.
One SoftwareAdvice reviewer noted: “I don’t like that I’m not able to directly syndicate reviews with other retailers (since Bazaarvoice owns this segment).” That’s accurate. Okendo is dependent on Bazaarvoice’s network for retail reach, and the cost to access it is high.
No negative review alerts
Okendo doesn’t notify you when a bad review comes in. You have to check the dashboard manually or catch it in a Klaviyo flow you’ve set up yourself.

Okendo isn’t the right call in these situations:
