Import Reviews via Chrome Extension

Import reviews from Capterra, G2, Trustpilot, ProductHunt, and more using the WiserReview Chrome Extension. One-click review scraping directly into your account.

🛍️ Google Shopping eligibility

Reviews imported from third-party platforms are stored separately and excluded from the Google Product Ratings feed, per Google’s partner content policy. They still display on your storefront and inside your widgets. To syndicate to Google Shopping, collect reviews natively through WiserReview’s email request or on-site form.

The WiserReview Chrome Extension makes it easy to import reviews from platforms like Capterra, G2, Trustpilot, ProductHunt, and more directly into your WiserReview account.

Note: Reviews imported via the Chrome extension (Capterra, G2, Trustpilot, etc.) display on your site only and are excluded from the Google Product Ratings feed.

Step 1: Install the Chrome Extension

  1. Go to the WiserReview Chrome Extension (link in your dashboard).

  2. Install the extension in your Google Chrome browser.

  3. Once installed, log in with your WiserReview account credentials.

Step 2: Capture Reviews from Supported Platforms

  1. Visit the platform you want to import reviews from (e.g., Capterra, G2, Trustpilot).

  2. Open the WiserReview Chrome Extension from your browser toolbar.

  3. Select the reviews you want to capture and sync them to WiserReview.

  4. Assign a connection name for better organization (e.g., Capterra Reviews).

Capture reviews from Trustpilot

Install the WiserReview Chrome extension, then connect your account.

Click on bulk import.

Click on the black arrow to select the user’s name, review the text content and other details, and then

After selection, click on the Next button.

Then select your workspace and source, assign a tag (optional), select a location (optional), and click save.

Your review will be shown under Manage Review in your WiserReview workspace.

Step 3: Manage Imported Connections

  • In WiserReview, go to Manage Reviews → Import Reviews → Chrome Extension.

  • You’ll see all the connections you’ve created (e.g., Capterra, Trustpilot, G2) along with their creation dates.

  • You can delete a connection at any time by clicking the trash icon.

Notes

  • Each connection represents one platform or source (e.g., Capterra).

  • You can import from multiple sources by creating multiple connections.

  • The extension works only on supported platforms listed in your WiserReview dashboard.
