NiceJob vs Reviews.io: a job or an order? (2026)
NiceJob grows a service business’s Google reviews off finished jobs at $75 flat. Reviews.io grows a store’s product reviews off shipped orders, metered by invites per domain from $29. The trigger that decides it, real 2026 pricing, and the $19 order-side option.

NiceJob and Reviews.io both send review requests, reply to reviews, and put stars on your website, which is why they end up in the same search. What triggers the request is where they part ways.
NiceJob fires when a job closes in Jobber, Housecall Pro, or a CRM, and points the customer at your Google profile. Reviews.io fires when an order ships in Shopify or WooCommerce, and points the customer at your product page.
Both are bought by the business itself, which is why a plumber and a Shopify store type the same query. The tool that fits is decided by what your customer just finished: a job, or an order.
I run WiserReview, a product-review tool for online stores, so I compete with the order side of this and I’ll say so where it matters.
Every price below was read off the live pricing pages in August 2026.

Why do NiceJob and Reviews.io get compared?
Both automate review requests by email and SMS and both show stars on your site, so feature lists overlap. The trigger, the destination, and the meter don’t.
NiceJob works the job
NiceJob’s homepage says it plainly: “Easily get more reviews. Outrank local competition. Win more sales.” The customer it has in mind just had a furnace serviced, a lawn cut, or a filling done.
The request goes out when the job closes, the reminder follows, and the review lands on Google or Facebook where the next customer is searching. Referral invites and repeat-booking reminders ride the same automation on Pro.
Reviews.io works the order
Reviews.io invites the customer after an order, timed by product or country through Flows, and collects a product review with photos and video that sits on the product page.
Company reviews feed Google Seller Ratings under your search ads, rich snippets put stars in organic results, and Google Shopping picks up product ratings.
Its integration library is built around ecommerce, marketing, and loyalty platforms, with no field-service apps on it.
The job-or-order test
Ask what your customer just finished. If it was a job with an invoice from a field-service app, NiceJob fits. If it was an order with a tracking number, Reviews.io or WiserReview fits.
I split the same pair one level up in Yotpo vs NiceJob, where the answer came out the same way.
NiceJob overview: flat-rate reviews for the job

NiceJob is a reputation-marketing platform for local service businesses, run by Paystone out of London, Ontario. Its site claims 1.7 million reviews enabled and 50,000+ businesses served.
It wears a 5.0 Google badge and 4.9 badges from Facebook, G2, and Capterra on its pricing page.
What it does well: the job workflow. Requests and reminders go out automatically from field-service apps, monitoring watches your reviews across the web, social sharing posts your best ones, and Stories and Engage widgets echo them on your site.
Pro adds repeat-booking reminders, referral campaigns, automated gifting, competitor review and SEO insights, automated AI replies, and NPS surveys. A done-for-you website sells separately at $99 a month plus $199 setup.
Where it stops: the product page. There’s no review tied to a SKU, no photo or video review on a product page, no rich snippets, no Google Shopping feed, and no Seller Ratings. Multi-location and franchise pricing is custom.
Ideal fit: HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, dental, and other appointment businesses that want Google reviews, referrals, and repeat bookings automated for $75 to $125 a month with no contract.

Reviews.io overview: metered reviews for the order

Reviews.io is a product and company review platform with UGC galleries and surveys, part of the clearer.io family alongside its Influence loyalty product. Its pricing page claims 10,000+ customers.
It holds a 4.7 from 701 reviews on the Shopify listing, shows a 4.8 G2 badge on its homepage, and integrates with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Shopware, Klaviyo, Gorgias, and TikTok Shop.
What it does well: the order workflow. Review Booster mails past customers, Flows time invites, video-first campaigns collect video, and Google Seller Ratings, rich snippets, and Google Shopping ratings all ship from the Start-Up plan.
Where it stops: the service desk. Google Business Profile reviews need Grow at $175 or more, and referrals live in the separate Influence loyalty product.
There’s no repeat-booking automation, and no Jobber or Housecall Pro integration to fire a request when a job closes.
Ideal fit: an ecommerce or online-first brand that wants verified reviews on its own pages, a Google ads and Shopping layer, and a price it can read on a slider.

Start Free Trial →WiserReview overview: the order side at store prices

WiserReview is my product, so weigh this section accordingly. It’s built for one job: verified product reviews on an online store, collected against real orders and shown where the next order happens.
What it does: collects reviews by email, SMS, WhatsApp, and QR code, with each send counting as one review request, then displays them in 18 widget types with photo and video on every plan.
Google Shopping product stars, rich snippets, and Google seller ratings sync from the $9 Starter plan, and AI moderation and AI replies run on every plan. Pro + AI adds review summaries, smart topics, and product review insights.

It runs on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow, Magento, PrestaShop, and headless builds. Starter is $9 for 100 review requests a month, Pro is $19 for 1,000, and Pro + AI starts at $31, each per workspace.
The spec-by-spec version lives on WiserReview vs. NiceJob.
Where it stops: the job side. No field-service integrations, no Google Business Profile campaigns, and no repeat-booking automation beyond a $6 referral add-on.
A service business with no online store should read NiceJob’s section, not this one.
Ideal fit: online stores on any platform that want the product-review job done at a listed price.
Where each one runs out
Each tool runs out the moment the other’s trigger appears: NiceJob at the first product page, Reviews.io at the first closed job.
A service business on Reviews.io gets company reviews from Essentials at $29, but the Google profile it lives on needs Grow at $175.
Nothing fires when a job closes in Jobber or Housecall Pro, and NiceJob does that job for $75 flat.
A store on NiceJob gets a good-looking Google profile and a widget of company reviews, and no stars where shoppers decide: no product-page reviews, no rich snippets, no Google Shopping ratings, no Seller Ratings.
A business that does both, a detailer selling products online or a clinic with a supplement shop, needs two tools. The job side runs NiceJob or one of its rivals; the order side runs Reviews.io or WiserReview.
For the job side beyond NiceJob, my Housecall Pro alternatives roundup covers the field-service review tools.
Pricing compared: $75 flat vs an invite slider
NiceJob charges a flat $75 or $125 a month per location. Reviews.io prices each tier off a monthly invite slider, per domain. WiserReview prices per workspace by monthly review requests.

WiserReview pricing

|---|---|---|
| Starter | $9/mo | 100 review requests, unlimited published reviews, 20 video reviews, Google Shopping stars, rich snippets, AI moderation and replies, no branding |
| Pro | $19, $29, or $49/mo | 1,000, 3,000, or 5,000 requests, 100 video reviews, Q&A, Klaviyo, WATI, Zapier, multi-store sync, auto-translation (credits) |

Billed per workspace, which means per domain, on a monthly review-request meter, month to month, with yearly billing taking 3 months off and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Every plan opens with a 7-day free trial.
The like-for-like check: a plumber sending 200 requests a month pays NiceJob $75 flat for Google reviews, referrals on Pro, and a job trigger.
Reviews.io Essentials costs $29 but tops out at 300 invites, with no Google profile integration until $175.
A store sending 1,000 requests a month with Google Seller Ratings pays $79 at Reviews.io and $19 here; NiceJob has no product-review plan to price against it.
Referrals, repeats, and UGC: what each one sells that the other doesn’t
NiceJob’s second act is referrals, repeat bookings, and gifting on Pro. Reviews.io’s second act is UGC galleries, surveys, and AI-search visibility for a brand.
NiceJob’s extras all feed the job calendar: referral invites go out after a good review, booking reminders bring past customers back, gifting rewards loyal ones, and staff leaderboards turn collection into a competition.
Its microsite gives a business with no website a review page that captures leads.
Reviews.io’s extras all feed the product page: shoppable UGC galleries on Plus, surveys with NPS, and attributes that let reviewers rate fit and quality.
A new AI Presence push aims at ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, and loyalty sits in Influence, sold separately.
Neither set crosses over, which is the cleanest sign these are different products wearing the same category name. For the Google-versus-marketplace version of that split, see Reviews.io vs Trustpilot.
Who should pick which platform?
The trigger decides before the features do: jobs closing in a field-service app go to NiceJob, orders shipping from a store go to Reviews.io or WiserReview.
NiceJob is right for
- Home-service and appointment businesses. HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, dental, and salons with work logged in Jobber, Housecall Pro, or a CRM.
- Owners who want one flat bill. $75 or $125 a month, no contract, no request meter, 14-day trial without a card.
- Teams that want referrals and repeats automated. Pro’s referral campaigns, booking reminders, and gifting run off the same customer list as the review requests.
Reviews.io is right for
- One brand selling online that wants reviews plus a Google layer. Product and company reviews, Seller Ratings, and rich snippets from $79 at 1,000 invites.
- Brands building UGC, not just ratings. Photo and video on every plan, galleries and shoppable UGC on Plus, TikTok Shop and Klaviyo integrations.
- Service brands with a few branches and no field-service app. Company reviews from $29; the Google Business Profile integration and Branches from $175.
WiserReview is right for
- Online stores that want the product-review job at $19. 1,000 requests, photo and video, both Google star types on every plan.
- Stores off Shopify. WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and headless builds get the same feature set.
- Stores that outgrew a free tier. Per-request pricing that stays at $19 to $49 through 5,000 requests a month.
Stars where the next order happens
Product-page reviews, rich snippets, and Google Shopping stars from $19 a month per workspace. 7-day free trial, 14-day money-back guarantee.
Start Free Trial →Wrap up: a job or an order?
NiceJob and Reviews.io only look interchangeable from the search bar. One fires when a job closes and grows a Google profile for $75 flat.
The other fires when an order ships and grows a product page and a set of Google star surfaces, from $29 a month per domain on an invite slider.
Running jobs: NiceJob, with its rivals one guide away. Shipping orders: Reviews.io for reviews plus UGC and a Google layer, WiserReview at $19 for the product reviews themselves.
And if you bought the wrong trigger, the reviews you already collected come with you. My guide to migrate from Reviews.io covers the export-and-import path, and it works the same way for most tools.
