Step 1: Open Script Manager
1. Log in to your BigCommerce Control Panel.
2. In the left menu, open Storefront.
3. Click Script Manager.
You will see the scripts currently installed on your store.
Step 2: Create a new script
1. Click Create a Script in the top-right corner.
2. Enter the following details:
Script name
“Google Customer Reviews”
Description
You can leave this field blank or enter:
“Google Customer Reviews opt-in survey”
Step 3: Configure the script placement
Choose the following settings:
Placement
Select:
“Footer”
Location
Select:
“Order confirmation”
This is important because Google Customer Reviews should load after a customer completes an order.
Script category
Select:
“Essential”
Script type
Select:
Script
Step 4: Add the Google Customer Reviews code
1. Copy your merchant center ID from Google Merchant Center.
2. Open the WiserReview dashboard and click on Integration
3. Select Google Customer Reviews and click on Integration
4. Paste your Google merchant ID here and add estimated days to deliver the order
5. Then click on Save. The script updates based on your merchant ID.
6. Copy the script and paste it in BigCommerce Script Manager.
7. Paste the following code into the Script contents field:
Step 5: Save the script
After adding the code:
1. Check that the Merchant ID is correct.
2. Confirm that the location is set to Order confirmation.
3. Confirm that the placement is set to Footer.
Click Save.
The script will now run on the BigCommerce order confirmation page.
