I Tested 9 Nector Alternatives (What Each Job Costs)
Nector bundles loyalty, referrals, and reviews behind one order meter and format gates. I priced all three jobs across 9 alternatives, verified live.

Nector makes a pitch I like: loyalty, referrals, and reviews in one platform, so you stop juggling three apps. Its own homepage says most platforms make you choose one.
Fair enough. So I audited the one bill you get instead.
The ladder runs $49 to $349 a month on an order meter with per-100-order overages, and each of the three jobs deepens only as you climb: text reviews at $49, image reviews at $179, video reviews at $349.
I pulled every number in this guide off live vendor pages this week and read the reviews going back years.
This guide prices 9 alternatives job by job: reviews, loyalty points, and referrals. The question for each row is simple. What’s the bill for the one job you need done well?
Why people look for Nector alternatives
Let me be fair first, because Nector has earned its reviews.
It’s a young Mumbai company, founded in 2021 by operators from Ninjacart, CoinDCX, and Frappe, with seed backing and a claimed 2,000+ brands.
Its Shopify listing holds a 4.8 across 84 reviews, and 78 of those are five stars. Merchants report numbers, not vibes: one store credits it with a 28% sales lift and 40% better repeat rate.
The recurring complaint isn’t quality. On G2, the one con that keeps surfacing is pricing. Here’s why.
The order meter
Nector bills by monthly orders on its pricing page. Starter at $49 covers 1,000 orders, then charges $15 per additional 100. Growth at $179 covers 4,000, then $10 per 100. Premium at $349 covers 12,000, then $5 per 100.
Run the math on a store doing 2,000 orders. That’s $49 plus $150 in overage, or $199 a month, which is already past the $179 tier. The meter bills the repeat purchases the software exists to create.
One credit first: the Shopify listing carries a Free Forever plan at 300 monthly orders. You won’t find it on nector.io’s pricing page, but it’s real, and it’s a fair floor for a small store.
The format ladder
Here’s the part that decided this article’s angle. The three jobs aren’t included; they’re staged.
The Free plan has no product reviews at all. Text reviews unlock at $49, image reviews at $179, and video reviews at $349.
So the reviews job, one third of the pitch, costs up to $349 a month to run in full.
Integrations climb the same way: 1 on Starter, 3 on Growth, unlimited only at Premium. A loyalty platform with one integration means your email tool or your POS, not both. And the Nector branding stays on until $179.
The fine print
Two footnotes worth reading before you commit.
Point redemption at checkout, the smoothest version of the loyalty experience, is available only for Shopify Plus merchants and custom sites per Nector’s own pricing page. Standard Shopify stores redeem through widgets and reward pages instead.
And emails are capped at twice your order limit, with extra emails billed at $5 per 1,000. Two meters, one bill.
The Nector bill, in plain numbers
From nector.io’s pricing page and its Shopify listing this week.
What Nector costs (checked July 2026)
4.8 (84) on Shopify; G2’s repeat con is pricing
Free 300 orders (listing only); $49 on the site
$49 to $349 by orders, plus $15/$10/$5 per extra 100
Video reviews at $349; checkout redemption on Plus only
The honest read: one subscription, three jobs, every job gated up the same ladder

Before you shop, write down two numbers: your monthly orders and the review format your product pages need. Every row below prices against those.
Quick comparison: 9 Nector alternatives

| Smile.io | Free; $15 to $199/mo | Orders, $20 per 100 over | The loyalty benchmark |

The third column is the audit.
Pick the job you need done first, then read its lane.
The reviews job
One tool does the trust half of Nector’s pitch full time. Full disclosure before anything else: it’s ours.
1. WiserReview

The case for it: WiserReview, our own product, does one job deeply: collecting and displaying reviews with photos, videos, and testimonials on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and custom stores.
Plans start at $9; Pro runs $19 a month with 1,000 review requests, unlimited reviews, and 100 video reviews; and the AI tier at $31 adds review summaries and insights, the same AI-review layer Nector reserves for its ladder. Referrals attach as a $6 add-on, and yearly billing includes 3 months free.
Put the numbers side by side. Video reviews cost $19 a month here and sit behind a $349 tier there.
The trade-off: It’s not a points engine, so there are no loyalty tiers or coin rules. If points are your core program, pair it with a loyalty specialist from the lane below.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Reviews are the job. Video proof shouldn’t cost $349. Your store isn’t only on Shopify.
The loyalty specialists
Four tools do points and VIP tiers full time, each handling the order meter differently.
2. Smile.io

The case for it: Smile is the category benchmark at a 4.9 across 4,135 reviews, with a free plan to 200 monthly orders, then $15 for 500, $79 for 1,000, and $199 for 2,500 with unlimited integrations, VIP tiers, and checkout redemption for Plus stores. The latter is gentler than Nector’s at every rung.
The trade-off: The Growth overage is $20 per additional 100 orders, the steepest in this lane, so fast-growing stores should price the next tier up before the meter does it for them.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: You want the safest loyalty pick. Integrations run deep. The brand name reassures stakeholders.
3. BON Loyalty

Here’s the row that breaks the pattern. BON’s top tier removes the order meter entirely.
The case for it: BON holds a 5.0 across 1,784 reviews, starts free to 150 orders, and climbs through $15 and $29 to Growth at $129 a month with unlimited orders, VIP and B2B tiers, and streak rewards. Every other tool in this guide meters orders forever; BON stops at $129.
The trade-off: The free and low tiers are order-capped tightly (150, 300, 500), so the value story starts at Growth, and there’s no review module, which is the point of this guide’s job-by-job split.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Order volume is climbing fast. You want the meter gone. A 5.0 histogram matters to you.
4. LoyaltyLion

The case for it: LoyaltyLion is the enterprise pick: its Classic plan starts at $199 a month including 500 orders, with a branded loyalty page built for you, pre-built earning rules, deep Klaviyo ties, and 100+ integrations across email, SMS, and subscriptions. Bigger brands get analytics and a revenue predictor the smaller tools don’t attempt.
The trade-off: $199 for 500 orders is the priciest entry in this lane per order, so it only makes sense when the strategy support and analytics earn their keep.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: You’re an established brand. Loyalty is a strategy, not a widget. Budget follows results.
5. Rivo

The case for it: Rivo is the Shopify-native pick, with a 4.8 rating across 1,390 reviews: Free for 200 orders, Essential at $15 for 500 with POS and theme extensions, Scale at $49 with pricing that grows with order volume, and Plus at $499 for checkout extensions and a developer toolkit. The pay-as-you-grow middle tier avoids cliff jumps.
The trade-off: It’s Shopify-only by design, and the Scale tier’s sliding price means your bill still tracks orders, just more smoothly than a hard overage.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: You live on Shopify. Smooth scaling beats tier cliffs. 24/7 human support matters.
The bundles, their own way
Three tools sell multiple jobs like Nector does, with three different bills.
6. Growave

The case for it: Growave bundles loyalty, wishlist, and product reviews with a genuine free tier at 200 orders a month, then Entry at $15, Growth at $199 with VIP tiers and Instagram UGC, and Plus at $499 with headless APIs, at a 4.8 across 1,170 reviews. It’s the closest structural twin to Nector with a $0 floor.
The trade-off: The overage architecture matches Nector’s too: $20 per extra 100 orders on Entry, $15 on Growth, $10 on Plus, so the same growth-tax math applies as you scale.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: You want Nector’s shape with a free floor. Wishlist matters. You’ll watch the overage line.
7. Marsello

The case for it: Marsello is the omnichannel row, built for brands running physical stores alongside online, with Apple and Google Wallet passes, RFM segmentation, and a per-site meter instead of per-order: Launch at $60 a month per connected site, Accelerate at $120 with VIP tiers and API access. If your loyalty program lives at the till as much as the checkout, this is the lane.
The trade-off: The rating sits at 4.3 across 151 reviews, the lowest in this guide, and recent one-star reviews describe refund disputes and pricing frustration, including an April 2025 reviewer who called it overpriced with unhelpful support. Read the recent page before committing.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Retail locations anchor the program. Wallet passes beat plastic cards. You’ve read the recent reviews.
8. Stamped

The case for it: Stamped sells the two jobs as two products you can buy separately: Reviews from $23 a month at 200 orders up to $199 at 5,000, and Loyalty at $299 for 5,000 orders, with a 4.7 across 3,412 reviews, Google Shopping integration, and product snippets. You pay only for the job you run.
The trade-off: Running both products costs $322 and up, and a July 2026 review from a seven-year customer reports review-request stalling three times in recent months, worth verifying on trial before you migrate.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: You want each job on its own bill. Google Shopping reviews matter. You’ll test deliverability first.
The referral job
One tool does the third job alone, and bills it by results.
9. ReferralCandy

The case for it: ReferralCandy holds a 4.9 across 1,404 reviews and prices the referral job on outcomes: $39 a month plus a 10.5% success fee on referral sales, dropping to 3.5% at $79, 1.5% at $249, and 0.25% at $799, with every feature on every plan. Small programs pay little until referrals earn.
The trade-off: Do the fee math at your volume, because a 10.5% cut on $5,000 of monthly referral sales is $525 on top of the $39, at which point the $79 tier already wins.
Pricing (verified July 2026):
Choose it when: Referrals are the growth engine. Paying on results feels fair. You’ll re-tier as volume grows.
How to choose: three checks
Skip the feature grids. Here’s the audit I’d run.
First, price each job separately at your real order volume. At 2,000 monthly orders, Nector runs $199 with overage, Smile runs $199, BON runs a flat $129 with the meter gone, and a split stack of review software plus loyalty software can land under $150. The bundle discount only exists if you check.
Second, match the review format to the tier that includes it. If product pages need video proof, price the tier that has video, not the sticker tier, and our AI conversion rate optimization guide covers why the format upgrade usually pays for itself.
Third, don’t buy jobs you won’t run. If referrals are an experiment, start with a results-priced tool or skip the module, and read our referral marketing strategies guide before wiring rewards to it.
Common mistakes when switching
I’ve seen these four turn a clean migration into a support ticket.
Migrating without exporting point balances, which turns your most loyal customers’ earned points into a customer-service fire. Running two live point programs during cutover, so shoppers earn double, and you honor both. Removing review widgets before the new ones render, which drops your review snippets from search results for weeks.
And treating the referral links as disposable. Old referral URLs live in your advocates’ group chats and bios, so redirect them, or you burn the exact customers who promote you for free.
The stack we’d run instead of the bundle
WiserReview at $9 to $19 for reviews, BON’s free tier or $15 plan for points, and referrals either through WiserReview’s $6 add-on or ReferralCandy when they become the growth engine. That’s all three of Nector’s jobs, each from a specialist, starting under $30 a month with no order overages.
The trade is one dashboard becoming two or three. The win is never paying $349 for video reviews.
Bundles save clicks. Specialists save the ladder.
My pick for each situation
Nine rows, one shortcut each.
| If this is you | I’d pick | The cost reality |
|---|---|---|
| Reviews first, any platform | WiserReview | From $9, video at $19, ours |
| Safest loyalty benchmark | Smile.io | Free, then $15 to $199 |
| Order meter has to go | BON Loyalty | $129, unlimited orders |
| Enterprise program, strategy help | LoyaltyLion | From $199/mo |
| Shopify-native, smooth scaling | Rivo | Free, then $15 to $499 |
| Bundle shape, zero budget | Growave | Free 3-in-1 to 200 orders |
| Retail stores anchor loyalty | Marsello | $60/site, check reviews |
| Each job on its own bill | Stamped | Reviews $23; Loyalty $299 |
| Referrals as the engine | ReferralCandy | $39 + success fee |
And if you’re an omnichannel Indian D2C brand under 300 orders? Nector’s listing-only free plan is honestly a fine place to start.
Just know which review format and which order count your next tier buys before growth makes the choice for you.
The short version
Nector’s three-in-one pitch is real, and the team behind it has earned a 4.8 with results-heavy reviews. The catch is the ladder: an order meter with per-100 overages, review formats staged from text at $49 to video at $349, and checkout redemption reserved for Shopify Plus.
The audit answer is to price each job alone. Reviews run $9 to $31 flat with WiserReview, ours, and priced like the specialist it is. Loyalty runs free to $199 across Smile, BON, LoyaltyLion, and Rivo, with BON killing the order meter outright at $129.
The bundle-shaped rivals split the difference: Growave with a free 3-in-1 floor and the same overage math, Marsello per site for retail, Stamped as two products on two bills. ReferralCandy prices the third job purely on results.
Count your orders, name the review format you need, and buy the jobs one at a time. The best retention stack is the one where growth lowers your cost per order instead of raising the bill.
