CusRev is a solid free WooCommerce reviews plugin, but it lacks AI moderation, ships just a handful of widget types, and licenses per domain. WiserReview adds AI fraud detection, 18+ widgets, review translation, and a workspace that scales across all your WooCommerce stores.

Frequently
asked questions

Yes, when you have outgrown a free plugin. CusRev is a solid free WooCommerce plugin with 80,000+ installs. WiserReview adds AI moderation, 18+ widgets, automated review requests by email, SMS and WhatsApp, review translation, Google Shopping feed and one workspace for every store, from $6.75 per month billed yearly.
CusRev (checked September 2026): the Basic plan is free, Pro is $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year plus VAT, and each licence covers one domain. WiserReview: Starter $6.75 per month billed yearly with 100 review requests, Pro $19 with 1,000 requests and multi-store sync, Pro + AI $31.
In WordPress go to Reviews, Import / Export, open the Export tab and download the CSV. In WiserReview go to Manage Reviews, Import Reviews, choose CusRev as the source and upload the file. Do the import during your first 60 days on WiserReview, which fits inside the free trial. Step-by-step: import reviews from CusRev.
Yes. Keep the order ID and product ID columns in your CusRev export and map them during import. WiserReview checks each order ID and reviewer email against your store's order history and keeps the verified badge on every review it can match. Reviews it cannot match still display, without the badge. See how verified reviews work.
Yes. Photo and video reviews import together with the review text, star rating, reviewer name and date. During import you map the image and video URL columns from your CusRev export, and the media shows in every WiserReview widget.
No. CusRev stores reviews as native WooCommerce reviews, and those can be exported and imported too. See export and import native WooCommerce reviews.
Yes. Chat support is included on every plan. On the Pro and Pro + AI plans our team does the setup for you: installing widgets, matching CSS to your theme and helping with the CusRev import. Stores running several storefronts get done-for-you migration on an Enterprise plan.
Yes. WiserReview has native apps and plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, PrestaShop and WordPress. Custom-built stores use the embed code for widgets and the webhook API for review requests and imports. See the custom ecommerce site guide and the API reference.
Yes. AI review summaries, smart topics and product insights come with the Pro + AI plan at $31 per month, and AI drafts a reply for every review so you only edit and send. AI also flags spam, profanity and policy-violating content before it goes live; genuine reviews publish automatically regardless of rating.
Yes. Widget text, forms and buttons can be set to any language on every plan. On Pro and Pro + AI, review request emails go out in the customer's language and reviews are auto-translated into 25+ languages, with the original kept next to the translation. Translation uses credits, 100 for $5. See the translation setup guide. CusRev relies on WPML, Polylang or TranslatePress for translated content.
Yes. Every plan adds Product Review schema (JSON-LD) so star ratings show in Google search results, and every plan includes the Google Shopping product ratings feed. Reviews collected by WiserReview are always eligible for the feed. CusRev reviews imported with a verifiable order ID during your first 60 days are included as well; imports without an order ID display on your site but are not sent to Google. See which reviews are syndicated.
Yes. Every plan has a 7-day free trial, followed by a 14-day money-back guarantee. You can cancel anytime. Plans start at $6.75 per month billed yearly.
