Why This Is Needed
You need this setup if:
-
You are using your own email marketing tool
-
You are not using WiserReview’s built-in Review Request automation or webhook
In this case, WiserReview does not automatically know:
-
Who the customer is
-
Which product was purchased
So you must pass product and customer details inside the review form URL using query parameters when sending the review link manually or through your email tool.
If you are using WiserReview’s built-in email automation, you do not need to do anything here. Everything is set automatically.
Supported Query Parameters
| Parameter | What It Means |
|---|---|
| e | Customer Email |
| nm | Customer Name |
| pid | Product ID (links review to product) |
| skuid | SKU ID (useful for Google Shopping feed or multi-store sync) |
| vrntid | Variant ID |
| pu | Product URL |
| pn | Product Name |
| st | Star rating (1–5) to pre-select rating |
| oid | Order ID (links review to order) |
You can pass only the required fields. Email & customer name and Product ID are the most common.
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Get Your Review Form URL
1. Go to the Forms
2. Open your Review Form
3. Click Publish / Embed
4. Copy the Public Form URL
Example:- https://rating.wiserreview.com/review-form/abc123
Step 2: Add Query Parameters
