How to customize Incentives

Overview

Encourage more customers to leave reviews by offering them incentives such as discounts or free shipping. This guide explains how to create and customize these incentives within WiserReview.

Step 1 :

Location: Collect Review –> Automate -> Incentives.

Creating and Customizing Incentives.

Step 2 : Access the Incentives Page.

  • Navigate to the Incentives section within the WiserReview dashboard under the Review Collection tab.
  • Click on the Create Discount Now button to begin setting up your incentive.

Step 3 : Configure Discount Options.

1. Discount Code Options.

  • Choose whether to generate a unique discount code for each review or use a common discount code for all reviewers.

2. Discount Type and Amount.

  • Select the type of discount you wish to offer (e.g., fixed amount, percentage off) and specify the amount.
  • Enter a code prefix if desired, which will be prepended to discount codes to help identify the campaign.

3. Reward Eligible Reviewers.

  • Decide whether any reviewer or only those who have received a review request can be eligible for the reward.

4. Eligibility by Rating.

  • Set the eligibility based on the star rating of the review, allowing you to incentivize higher-quality reviews.

5. Send Coupons for Specific Types of Reviews.

  • Choose to send coupons for any review or restrict it to reviews with certain characteristics, such as those with a title and body, containing photos or videos, etc.

Step 4 : Select Communication Templates.

  • Choose templates for requesting reviews via email, SMS, and WhatsApp from the Templates section.
  • Use the default templates provided or create custom templates to align with your marketing strategy.

Step 1 : Access the Template Settings.

  • Navigate to the Update Email Template section within the WiserReview dashboard.
  • Select the template type you wish to update. For incentives related to reviews, choose “Single Product Review Email (Incentive Email).”

Step 2 : Customize the Email Content.

Subject Line :

  • Update the subject line to catch the recipient’s attention. Example: “Thank You! Here’s Your Incentive for Sharing Your Thoughts”

Message Body :

  • Start with a greeting personalized with the customer’s name using the placeholder {{CUSTOMER_NAME}}.
  • Thank the customer for their review, mentioning the store or product name using {{STORE_NAME}}.
  • Clearly describe the incentive, specifying the discount value using {{DISCOUNT_VALUE}} and the discount code using {{DISCOUNT_CODE}}.
  • Optionally, add a closing statement that reflects your brand’s tone or any additional information about the use of the incentive. For instance, “This offer is valid until [date]. Enjoy your shopping!”

Step 3 : Preview and Test the Email.

  • Use the Preview pane to see how your email will appear to customers.
  • Send a test email to yourself by clicking the Send test email button to ensure everything looks correct and functions as intended.

Step 4 : Save Changes.

  • Once you are satisfied with the template, click Save to update the template settings.
